Default Pineapple Express

This movie, I thought, would be extremely funny. I figured it would be the normal "stoner" type movie, very funny and stupid. Well we went to see it the other night for a nice date, and well it was not as good as I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong, it is good, but not what you expect from the previews. I think the funniest part of the whole movie is in the previews. It is rather drawn out too. It is a drug movie, but the only thing that makes it a "stoner" movie is that they smoke some stuff called "Pineapple Express" the entire time and do stupid stuff. It is a good movie to see, but I suggest waiting until it comes out on DVD and renting it at McDonalds for $1

Thanks for your review, I plan on renting it with my Free Rental from Blockbuster no need on spending a lot at the theater!

We are going to see it this weekend. I've heard many good things about it and that it was a funny movie.

Thanks for the info...
My BF wants to see it.
I hate when the previews are the best part of the movies...

Ya we were very excited to see it and we picked it for our movie on our date instead of the new Batman movie, and I was rather upset. It has its funny parts, but I think the funniest part was on the previews, and it really isn't even that funny of a situation. The plot is very drawn out and it doesn't have enough funny parts to keep you 100% satisfied with how long it is.

We rented it the other night - I agree with ALawicki, funny in parts. I thought Seth Rogan and James Franco were suprisingly good actors in this.

It would be much better if they didn't spend their time high dancing in the woods. Maybe do some crazy stuff instead of stay in one spot. They were good actors though. In the previews you think the "thug life" part will be SO funny, but really it is not all that funny besides we knew he said it. We are going to watch it again and see if it is better the 2nd time.
