I want to go to the movies tonight. I would go every week before I moved here. Albert is such a bore sometimes!

Some of the flicks are shown with the volume up so loud, that it's actually painful for me and the little one. The theaters need to schedule reduced volume showings for people with good hearing or to hand out earplugs for those of us that still wish to be able to hear when we get older! They have earplug dispensers at work--why not at the theater, too?

I agree it is too loud for me also

We are so fortunate here. We have a movie theater that shows first-run movies for $2.25 a seat. I am taking my son to see the new Indiana Jones movie later today.

We saw Iron Man a couple of weeks ago and loved it! We can't wait to see the sequel.

We would also like to see the new Batman movie, You Don't Mess with the Zohan, and the latest Mike Myers movie The Love Guru. We saw the trailer for it before Iron Man and the entire theater was ROFL. Here's the link to it:

Sounds like my hubby. The last movie we saw alone together was The Hunt for Red October, which came out in 1990.

My hubby has not left the house in nearly two weeks. Can you believe that? I would go insane just sitting around the house for that length of time.
