Default No Country for Old Men

We watched this last night. I had not even heard of it before all of the Oscar hoopla. It was ok, just sort of boring to me. I had heard that the whole story was about the relationship between the sheriff and his father, so I kept that in mind the whole time and the end made sense. If I had not heard that, I would have said WHAT? at the end. It just sort of ended.
The acting was good, but I just didn't see all the hype behind it.
Animal lovers - note, there are similar dog scenes to I Am Legend, so if you don't want to see it, skip this movie because it's in there 2 or 3 times.
Anyone else?

What?! this is the best movie, omg! I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! why does so many people dislike this one, I though it was funny, had some tense moments, and i've watched it 2x, i love this movie, esp. the part where Anton is at the gas station station talking with the old guy, or what about when he's in the hotel room and the phone starts ringing and he takes his time answering it then put his feet upon the bed cause he doesnt want to get his boots "dirty", Gosh, I love this movie! The end was cool, omg, ithis movie was great

Yeah, we did laugh at the gas station scene. That guy sure was interesting. I thought the acting was great, and I did watch the whole 2 hours - so it's not that I didn't like it, it's just not one I would watch again or buy (honestly I can't remember the last DVD I bought anyway!).

We're all individuals, so we're gonna like/dislike different things! Well, now I don't know whether to watch it or not!

The acting was incredible!
The dialogues felt and sounded real.
It was a great movie.
I was totally into the story line and the characters.
I was in complete anticipation of the ending.
Then in the middle of my anticipation....it ended.
