Default Lord of the Dance?

Ok, so I'm not actually asking about the movie, but I didn't know where else this post could belong...Lord of the Dance is coming to our local theatre at the end of next month and during the commercial last night advertising the show, I made a (joking) comment about how I was getting my husband tickets to the show for his birthday in a few weeks. Then he said that it's actually supposed to be a good show. I enjoy Brodway and off-Brodway shows, but never thought my husband liked them, or would even think about seeing one, let alone, Lord of the Dance.
So, since I highly value the opinions of SS Members, I thought I'd throw it out there - has anyone seen this show or the movie? Tickets are around $35-$50 per person plus all the lovely ticketmaster fees and parking and misc., so I'd want to get a few people's comments and do some research before spending about $100-$130 for one night out. I would get the cheaper seats since I've been to our local theatre before and it's soo small, even the back top row has a great view. Thanks in advance for your help

We saw the show one year in Las Vegas, I believe it was at the New York New York Casino and I must say I love it. I really think you would enjoy the show, make a night of it. Have fun....

Just wanted you to know that I saw your post, but unfortunately can't contribute any info. This will at least bump it back to the top and hopefully someone will see it that can give you a good opinion Good luck and have fun if you go!
