My son's recipe: bowtie pasta, sauteed yellow squash/zucchini/tomato/onion with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. He made this up last summer and is very proud!

You are so cute, Carol! I was thinking I definitely need to involve him in the kitchen more this year. Maybe I will have him plan one meal a week (dinner) and I will help him to prepare it. Gotta keep building those life skills!

Great idea, Melanie...or you could say I have these ingredients what do you think we should make with it? I think it's a great idea to involve him in some cooking...my dh is a great cook too....he makes the most awesome breakfast, but he knows how to make lots of other things too. This is one life skill that never goes out of fashion.

Now tonight dh is having his hamberger patty dinner...and I am having a TV dinner...so, he is cooking his dinner and I am slaving over the computer here while the oven cooks my dinner...teehee

Melanie, it sure sounds like he is going to make an awesome catch for some lucky girl. Wish my hubby could cook. The only thing he cooks is scrambled eggs. lol They are good though.

I'm going to use the Kraft Rosemary/Roasted Garlic dinner kit, some rice, and squash.
