This recall involves bunk bed that is identifiable by the model number I5033 and UPC 021032203566. The model number appears on a label affixed to one of the long bed rails.
Hazard Identified

The wooden side rails that run from the headboard to the footboard and hold the bunk bed's mattress in place can split and cause the bunk bed to collapse, posing a fall hazard to consumers.

Health Canada has received one report of the side rails cracking or breaking, which lead to minor bruises and abrasions.
Corrective Action

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bunk bed and return it to the place of purchase for a refund.
