I think I already live in my ideal house. Just because it is my home and it is the kind of home I always wanted. SInce I was a very little kid I appreciated houses, especially the old ones. My hubby and I bought an old brick and stone bungalow several years ago 4 blocks from where I lived the first 9 years of my life. We have renovated it ourselves, and even though it could be bigger we are very happy with it.

My kitchen has a small amount of drawers and they are so small! We are looking to buy a house, and if there aren't any, I will see to it that we have some! Right now I have an old dresser in the kitchen I use for stuff. I have used those plastic stacked drawers on wheels before to add extra drawer storage. I use one in the bathroom now.

When I was in my teens I drew plans up for my dream house. One story, square in shape enclosing a patio. Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 bath with laundry room, kitchen, dining, and living area all on the main floor. The basement would be divided into a storage area, living area and a bedroom with full bath. It would have plenty of windows and land. That way I could have as many pets as I would like.
