Default Any fellow iPhoners?

Just wondering if there others who have the iPhone? I'm not sure why this is here, but what the hey!!

I have the 1st generation iPhone, but thankfully we didn't pay full price for them (hubby has one too). I have named mine Enid

My current apps are:
Sol Free (solitare games)
Facebook
Bloons Lite (addictive little balloon popping game)
Zyrtec Allergy Forecast (always good to know when to have tissues)
Relax Lite (meditation, but I haven't tried it yet)
Arcade Claw (sooo fun)
Eye Tricks (wonky, but fun)

I'm always looking for fun apps, but they have to be free for me to use them. I'm thinking of requesting an Itunes GC for my birthday

I love my iphone too, and I use it all the time. I went out of town a couple weeks ago, thinking I would be home that same evening. Naturally, I left my laptop at home along with toothbrush, change of clothes and everything else one needs for an overnight trip. Quick trip to Walmart solved one issue, and my iphone 3G solved the other. I was able to play games, keep up with facebook, surf my favorite websites, and read my local newspaper.

Apps I use most: Facebook-VoiceMemos
The Weather Channel--Word Warp
Sudoku--White Noise(Great to go to sleep to)
Night Camera--Flashlight(Comes in handy a lot)
Spawn lite(dumb & mindless, but still interesting)
Drinks free--SkeeBall
Farkle Deluxe--Around Me
Moron Test--Battery Magic--Open Table

Default LOVE the iPhone!

Oh I am with you on the love of the iPhone. I just posted a reply on another post about some of my favorite apps. I have yet to pay for an app but if I find one worthy and cheap I would consider it.

1) Slacker radio - many stations to choose from (the comedy channels are great if you need a quick humor pick me up)

2) The dictionary.com app is always good in a pinch and not at home.

3) LOVE the cooking apps - Bigoven, ifood (lite even), AllRecipes, Betty Crocker cookbook, Epicurious, and CrockPot

4) Word Warp: very addicting game. Objective is to form as many words as possible from six scrambled words. To move to the next "level" one must find the word using all the letters together. My finace and I play this at night sometimes. Its really uses parts of your brain you sometimes forget about.

5) If you enjoy reading or being read to I like: Watpad, Audiobooks, & for the kiddo's - Grimm Tales, Children's Classics, & Fairy Tales

6) Emoji Free - gives emoticons that you can use. Only works with other fellow iPhone users however. To enable you download the app > go to settings > general > keyboards > international > japanese > click "on" under emoji. If after downloading this option does not appear reset your phone.

CoolFacts: is interesting to read through when you are bored. Can be conversation starters.

Backgrounds: app that you can search through backgrounds for your phone. I get bored with the preset ones and so I choose my own.

Faces! Lite is an app used to put someone's picture (of their head) into another silly picture. Always gives laughs.

Sit or squat - interesting app. People rate bathroom quality so you can find bathroom's in your area and know what to expect (dirty/clean/changing table/etc). Sometimes people even upload pictures of the restrooms and you can upload pictures as well.

FindSpecials - uses your location to locate special deals on food and drinks in your area. usually only works on larger towns.

Arrow iPhone Apps that save you money

Here are some free apps that I love:

If you're looking for deals or free stuff, download:

Checkpoints - this app rewards you for "checking in" to retail stores near you and for scanning products. Some prizes you can redeem your points for include iTunes gift cards and gift certificates to Amazon, Target and Home Depot.

Shopkick - same as Checkpoints.

SCVNGR - "Check in" to places near you for points and you can get free stuff at the places you check into (for example, a free appetizer at a restaurant). Most of the places that participate are near major cities. This app was created in Cambridge, MA, so more places that participate will be there.

ScoutMob - 50% off deals for places near you. You don't have to buy anything, just show the app and get 50% off.

LevelUp - pay with the QR code on this app and get money off at participating retailers. Register with code L2NS1F to get a free $5 to spend.

Field Agent - Pays you for doing various "jobs." These jobs may include checking the prices of certain items at grocery stores or taking surveys. I've earned $17.50 so far.

Easy Shift - Similar to Field Agent. Pays you for doing various jobs.

GigWalk - Pays you to take photos of a restaurant menu or a business. Usually about $4-$5 each "gig."

I'm not tech savvy either, but my family finally talked me into getting the iphone. I LOVE it! It's a lot easier than I thought it would be. Much easier sending text messages. Only thing I have not found yet is speed dial. I loved that feature on my dinosaur of a phone. Numbers I dialed frequently were easier. But over all the iphone is MUCH better.
