Linda, thank you so much for the beautiful card. I'm sorry I haven't told you before now. It came while I was out of town for my niece's graduation. Things have just been crazy here lately. I guess you could say I wear my heart on my sleeve. My Grandmother used to say that. Lately, I know what she meant when she said it. Being out of town for a few days certainly helped. How are you doing? Well, I hope. Wishing you a wonderful week. Thanks again!
I am keeping a log of bp readings. I am almost a fanatic about writing things down! When I go to the doctor (or DH goes) I print out a list of our meds, any recent test, immunizations, etc. I also list the meds that we need prescriptions for and any questions. Our doctors smiles and says "do you have your notes for me"? For the doctor who takes care of my diabetes, I keep a spread sheet of my glucose readings. This helps to track any patterns and make sure I keep it under control. When I worked, we were often told - be sure to make a paper trail. I guess it is truly hard to teach an old dog new tricks.
I'm glad that you haven't had any symptoms since going to the ER. I know that had to be so scary. We do have to trust our doctors, but you know your body. It might help you if you write down all the blood pressure checks. We have to do that with my Dad since his stroke. We just journal it. It seems to help his doctor to know what is going on. Hope all goes well with your visit in 2 weeks. Prayers and hugs for you! Hope your weekend is a good one too!
Thank you, Kim. The storms missed us again (we have been blessed to be spared each time we have had storms). One man who lived about four miles from us was killed and two people in eastern Jefferson County lost their lives. We live in western Jefferson County. The injuries were 100+ and many homes and businesses were destroyed. Our state has suffered terribly in the last year. Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to remember us.
Linda, I've been thinking of you and your family today. You and all of Alabama are in my prayers. The storms have been horrible there today. Hoping and praying ya'll are okay. Stay safe my friend. Stay safe!
