CERTAIN EVENFLO FIRST CHOICE INFANT CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEMS, MODEL 3604098, MANUFACTURED BETWEEN JANUARY 16 AND SEPTEMBER 29, 2009, FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE LABELING REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 213, "CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEMS." A LABEL CONTAINING IMPORTANT INFORMATION WAS LEFT OFF THE SEAT.

Consequence:
A LABEL WAS INADVERTENTLY LEFT OFF THIS PRODUCT THAT CONTAINS CERTAIN REQUIRED INFORMATION ABOUT CONTACTING EVENFLO TO REGISTER THE CAR SEAT IN CASE OF A RECALL, INFORMATION ABOUT CONTACTING THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION FOR RECALL INFORMATION, AS WELL AS A STATEMENT CERTIFYING THAT THE CAR SEAT COMPLIES WITH THE SAFETY STANDARD AND IS CERTIFIED FOR USE IN AIRCRAFT.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- El Segundo, CA - November 19, 2009 – Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market is voluntarily recalling some fresh&easy™ "Pumpkin Cheesecake Pies" (40 oz.) because they may contain undeclared pecans. Individuals who have allergies to pecans run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.
The recalled product was sold in Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market stores in California, Nevada and Arizona.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that a limited number of the fresh&easy™ "Pumpkin Cheesecake Pies" (UPC 5051379033712) were labeled with plain fresh&easy™ "Pumpkin Pie" labels (UPC 5051379008628), which do not declare the presence of pecans. The mislabeled fresh&easy™ Pumpkin Cheesecake pies all carry an "Enjoy by" date of NOV 21 and have been removed from all Fresh & Easy stores.
The fresh&easy™ "Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie" has a crumb topping containing pecans. fresh&easy™ "Pumpkin Cheesecake Pies" which are accurately labeled are not affected by the recall. (see picture of incorrectly labeled product attached)
Customers may return the unused product, empty product containers or present the receipt as proof of purchase of the recalled product to any Fresh & Easy store for a full refund. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- November 19, 2009 - Service Smoked Fish Corp. of Brooklyn, NY, is recalling specific "Use-By" dates and lot codes of Brooklyn's BEST brand SMOKED NOVA SALMON because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may possibly suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.
Smoked Nova Salmon was distributed in the greater New York area, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the areas of Baltimore, MD, Los Angeles, CA, and Portland, Oregon. Consumers may have purchased the product from retail food stores.
The Smoked Nova Salmon was vacuum-packed in clear, plastic bags of various size packages including 3 oz., 4 oz., 8 oz., 12 oz., 16 oz. and random weight sides with the brand name "Brooklyn's BEST" appearing on a circular label inside the vacuum bag. A "Use-By" date appears on the bottom of the gold board. Units with "Use-By" dates of 12/03/09 through 12/19/09 are being recalled. The product was also air-packed in bulk boxes. Air-packed units with lot numbers 060 through 043 are being recalled. No other use-by dates or lots numbers are involved in this recall.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
The recall is the result of samplings by the Food and Drug Administration which revealed that the finished products contained the bacteria. The company has ceased the production and distribution of the product. The FDA and the company continue their investigation as to what caused the problem.
Consumers who have purchased the above "Use-By" dates or lot codes of "Brooklyn's BEST" brand SMOKED NOVA SALMON are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Summary:
FERRARI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 1995 THROUGH 1999 FERRARI 355 AND 355 F1 VEHICLES. INDEPENDENT AUTOMOBILE REPAIR FACILITIES MAY HAVE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED CERTAIN SCREW CLAMPS THAT ARE LOCATED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE FUEL LINES AND THAT FASTEN THE WATER SLEEVE TO THE THERMOSTAT CONNECTION. THE IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THESE SCREW CLAMPS MAY DAMAGE THE FUEL SUPPLY PIPES.

Consequence:
FLUID COULD LEAK INTO THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT, CAUSING SMOKE AND, IN SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, A FIRE, RENDERING THE VEHICLE INOPERABLE AND POSSIBLY RESULTING IN A CRASH.

Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A NEW FUEL DIVIDER BLOCK, WHICH WILL SERVE TO PROVIDE A GREATER DISTANCE BETWEEN THESE SCREW CLAMPS AND THE FUEL LINES. THIS WILL ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF ANY DAMAGE TO THE FUEL SUPPLY PIPES WHICH COULD CAUSE FLUID LEAKAGE. THIS SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. Grand World Recalls “Bobby Chupete” Pacifiers Due to Choking Hazard

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, in cooperation with the firm named below, today announced a voluntary recall of the following consumer product. Consumers should stop using recalled products immediately unless otherwise instructed.
Name of Product: “Bobby Chupete” Pacifiers
Units: About 641,000
Importer: Grand World Inc., of Maspeth, N.Y.
Hazard: The pacifiers fail to meet federal safety standards. The pacifier mouth guard is too small, posing a choking hazard to infants and toddlers.
Incidents/Injuries: None reported.
Description: This recall involves “Bobby Chupete” pacifiers. The pacifiers have a ring-shaped handle and heart-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes. The ****** is made of latex. “Bobby Chupete” and a picture of an infant are printed on the pacifier’s packaging. The pacifier was sold in aqua, red, white or yellow colors.
Sold at: Various retail stores nationwide from November 2004 through July 2009 for about $1.
Manufactured in: China
Remedy: Consumer should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from infants and toddlers and contact Grand World for a refund or a replacement pacifier.
