I have never actually used the ball mix.But I use to do alot of home canning. Salsa was one I done every year.My original salsa recipe came from the ball blue book.It was great everyone in town loved it.I have used many ball recipes in the past and all were great!! If the mix is anything close to there recipe it will be great.!

I made this the other night...I am NOT impressed. I made it with canned tomatoes, but I don't think it would have tasted better with fresh. The salsa ended up tasting like canned tomatoes...nothing more. I didn't notice that the mix had any effect on the flavor. I don't think I'll be buying this again.

I ordered this sample and got it only 3 days later! WOW:D I love salsa and this looks easy and delicious to fix. I've used Ball products in the past and it's nice to see them come out with more refrigerator/freezer friendly products.

I can't believe how quickly the sample came to me. (less than a week!) I don't have tomatoes ready yet so the taste test will have to wait!

I recieved my sample. I made it but noone liked it including me. But everybodys taste is different. Atleast I got to try it before I bought it.

I was trying to be nice but this salsa mix is awful imo. It was so bland and tasteless. I suggest sticking to your homemade salsa. I dont know what the manfacturor was thinking giving a sample of this product out for free.

I had to laugh at your post, I am sure that the company thinks they have a wondeful product, however keep in mind they are the canning pro's not packaged products, and this proves it, thanks I think I will open my package just to smell it, then throw it out...:eek:
