In Calif, you must fill out and send in a consent letter to get this sample if you choose to sign up for the monthly Diabetes Control for life e-mail news letter, (consent is good for 5 years) it does not tell you this until you get to the end of the form and click on to receive the news letter, never heard of this to get a sample for cereal, lol

I got two separate letters from them.yesterday. One contained a coupon for $11 off any one Multipack of Glucerna shakes. The other was for $5 off any box of Glucerna cereal. Anyone can use the products, they are just not loaded with suger which is great! In the Birmingham News Sunday paper in the coupon section, this past Sunday there was a $1.50 coupon off Glucerna Cereal PLUS a rebate form for up to 3.99 back!!! I got the Flakes plus Strawberries yesterday, our Brunos grocery store has it on sale for $3.49. Rite-Aid has it on sale for 3.99.

Anyone tried it yet? I got mine at Walmart a couple of days ago. I didn't like it at all. I'm picky about cereal though. I hate it when it gets soggy in milk, and this got soggy within seconds. I got a neat cashier though. The cereal was $4.44, yet she took the entire $5 off. She did the same for the shakes. The shakes were $8.94, but she went ahead and took off $11. Bonus!

I agree I hate soggy cereal! Kashi go lean crunch it has crunch right up to the last bite!!

I tried the one with strawberries and thought it was good. It made the milk in the bowl turn pink and tasted good to drink afterwards. My friend that has diabetes tried it and says she will buy it in the future. She said it didn't make her blood sugar go up after eating it and she also liked the flavor. Thanks ForumUser1, I am going to print out that coupon and give it to her.

By the way, Walgreens carries it as well. I actually bought it there last week, when you got a checkout coupon for the amount you paid off your next purchase of anything at Walgreens. Then I got my free coupon in the mail yesterday and Sunday's paper had a coupon and rebate in it too. Great promo deals available on this product!

Kashi Cereal is just the best!!! any kind of Kashi cereal, they are healthier for you. some are loaded with fiber, some are low sodium, some have antioxidants. try them all! The Heart to Heart and H to H with Blueberries are great; they Go Lean Crunch with Flaxseed is great, the regular Go Lean is good to mix with other cereals, has tons of fiber, not much sugar. Good Friends with Raisins is great. I am the Kashi Cereal expert!!! LOL

I love kashi brand!! my favorite is the kashi go lean crunch with a splenda packet added to it.It reminds me of sugar pops as a kid. I also like the fact that it stays crunchy right to the last bite.

Walmart carries this. Most grocers that have pharmacy also carry it. I was lucky mine came with a list of local stores. You won't find it in the cereal section. Go to the pharmacy/ health and beauty area. You will find it back there in diabetics. Hope this helps. :) :)

I redeemed my coupon at Walgreens. I couldn't find it at CVS (they do have the Glucerna shakes though...if you have that free coupon). The CVS i go to is a smaller store...the larger CVS stores may have it available.:D

are you sure you are looking in the right section? Its not located with the cereal. Walmart carries it in the pharmacy area.

Ya. I went by where the pharmacy is and seen where they had all the diet stuff like bars, shakes, pills, Ect... And they did not have it. I looked all around CVS and they only carried the shakes...the lady at the front counter had never even heard of it.

At my Walgreens it is carried in the aisle with the diabetic stuff. So it may not be by the regular diet bars. You may just need to go up and down the aisles to find it. I would check again if I was you.

CVS is just like a Walgreens. I think that Walgreens is just a little better than CVS. I dont really know what it stands for though! :)

And, interestingly, there are stores in Oklahoma! They are in the Oklahoma City area though. They'll probably be in Tulsa before too much longer. I don't know where they're gonna put 'em though! It seems like there is a Walgreen's on every corner here.

I have been eating my free box of Glucerna. It is not the best in the world but it is edible. I know one thing.......I sure would not have actually paid 4.99 for that box of cereal. I do splurge sometimes on Kelloggs Cracklin Oat Bran. Man it is YUM-O!! But it is hitting on 4 bucks a box and it is not too big either.

Hi! I could not find it either (after my free coupon came) nor could my mother. I found it by accident at our Super Walmart. At the 2 locations closest to me, this cereal (and shakes) can be found near the pharmacy in the diabetic aisle, it is not with the grocery cereals! It is really good by the way.

None of the grocery stores or drug stores that I checked carry the Glucerna cereal--only the shakes. However, Target in the nearest city carries three varieties of the Glucerna cereal at $4.49, so the "up to $5" coupon brings home a freebie box for a relative. Great freebie post--thank you!
