If you cannot continue, please let the conductor of your train know so that the train can be continued.
Please provide enough postage so as not to delay the train.

I'm in school and it's nearing finals time and I was trying to spend more time studying and less time online..... not that it worked :) I am still here and I have been keeping up; I just haven't posted yet. I have a bmillion coupons to add and will be looking for it in the mail. Since it didn't come today, I expect it will come Monday. I have a lot of holiday baking coupons to add too and will get it on it's way ASAP so everyone can get them before the holidays.

wow, everyone's reaction really gave me a good laugh! the other day i went to wal-mart and used some of the coupons i've been collecting and i saved $18! i was excited because i only brought a handful with me.

i think it would be kinda fun to post how much you saved using the coupons (if you remember)so everyone else can see too.

I write it down every time I go - it helps motivate me to keep on clipping! So far this year I've saved around $470, which I think is already a record for yearly saving :D Skimming through my notebook, it looks like the most I've saved in one trip is about $31 -- which was probably a time when Kroger's sent me a $5 off a $50 order... I always dig through my coupons and the sales to figure out how to bring that $50 way down. :cool:

I have a cat :) She's a little picky, so I'll be sending some cat stuff when I send out as well (She wasn't impressed with the recent sample of Greenies treats for example). I would love any Fresh Step litter coupons, and she eats Friskies and Purina dry food, and Temptations, Pounce, and Meow Mix treats.
She also liked the somewhat recent Blue Buffalo dry food sample, so when I can afford it and get to where they sell it (~45 mins away) I like to get her "healthier" food like that, Wellness, or Innova.

But, no, we haven't talked about any of this yet lol

anyway, i'll just post my list here. my husband and i just got married, are both in college, i was recently in the hospital (no insurance)...and we are BROKE TIMES A LOT and use whatever coupons to just get food cheap.

-pilsbury biscuts, etc
-tea (come on....i'm a texas gal...we drink GALLONS of sweet tea)
-box dinners....etc

Also, I'm a Bzzz agent and seem to be getting a lot of the campaigns lately, so I'm going to throw in some stuff from that. They sent me a HUGE box of Listerene white strips; I don't know what to do with them all. My husband and I would have iridescent teeth if we used them all! I like the idea of wish lists because I belong to two trains I have a ton of coupons but if I know one train will use a coupon and on the other train it will sit in there until it expires I woiuld prefer to stick it in the right train.

I am married with a child. I tend to really hunt for coupons geared toward children. such as:
Children's electric toothbruches,
Kandoo bathroom products,
Cottonelle for kids (toliet paper and wipes)
Huggies cleanteam products,
Bubblebath,
Johnson' buddies-they had a print out one on this forum for $1 off man I maxed that print.

Other stuff
Dannon Yogert that can be used for Activia
Kraft liveactive cheese
Frozen Meals (healthy chice, lean cuisine, smart ones)
Frozen Foods,
Miralax,
Paper towels,
ALL brand laundry soap,
Dishwasher-soap, cleaner, rinse aid
Muir Glen stuff there is a coupon out there now for $1.00 off because it is a new product.

Most of these things are the things I would buy without a coupon and not think twice so getting a coupon is the cherry on my ice cream.

i think i have quite a few coupons you can use then:) i love smart ones and healthy choice meals, but the coupons are always like buy 500,000 and get $1 off...well my freezer isn't that big.....so i just have a collection of them :)

ok, besides my cat stuff, let me see what I can think of here. Altho I think it's still good to throw in surprises! I'm sure we're all forgetting stuff, and there's some stuff I only buy when I have a good coupon for it. . So, while there's specifics, we should think of them more as general guidelines... also, if someone puts something in "for" someone, someone earlier on the train may have a use for it as well, so I don't think we should think too much about about a coupon being for a specific person. :) Also, a lot of stuff I buy with coupons only if it's on sale... if it's not, I buy store-brand (or get stocked-up when I do have deals), so even some coupons I "request" I may end up sending on.
Now that I've typed a novel for you all...

I shop for me, my mom, and my Grandma. (And my cat) So a bit of an age-range (29-86, oh my cat is 7 :p ) of stuff.

- My Grandma flies through Puffs tissues, while I prefer Kleenex (I'm hoping my sinus surgery will mean I'll need less of those in the future... )
- Charmin toilet paper
- feminine hygiene products (Always, plastic-app tampons, and Poise bladder)
- Chocolate/candy/popcorn/potato chips
- about any un-used monthly P&G products would probably be appreciated by *someone* on the train, I think?
- Frosted Mini Wheat cereal, Pop-tarts
- Motrin, Excedrin
- I tend to buy whatever toothbrush I have a sale/coupon combo for
- Fixodent
- I think the Dr. wants me to keep taking Mucinex even after my surgery
- Oust air spray [that could've practically gone on my cat list]
- If ya'll get the Kroger coupons they seem to send out every-other month, I'd be interested in seeing any you don't use.. many of these actually say Manufacturer coupon and I've used them elsewhere, so I'll send my unused of those on as well. (Anyone else have a Kroger near them?)
- vitamin/herb (Nature Made, Sundown, Nature Way, ect...I think starting in Janurary I'll regularly be near a G.N.C. if they have good store-specific coupons)
- Tostino's frozen Pizzas (I've never seen coupons for them, just the Pizza Rolls, but if anyone does find some...), Stouffer's French Bread pizzas
- Bath & Body Works
- packaged cheeses (Kraft and Sargento are what I usually see)
- Banquet chicken or frozen dinners
- Chocolate Chips, Andes baking chips
- cake/frosting/brownie mixes
- Lemi-shine (good for clearing up the HARD-water issues in our dishwasher... )
- Coca-Cola (addicted to the Vanilla), or any brand of Diet Lemon-Lime flavor pops (7-up, Sprite, ect), oh or Root Beer or Cream Soda

I have a Smith's near me which is owned by Kroger's so the coupons might work.

I still take Mucinex for my sinuses. It still helps and prevents me from getting sick. There is a new maximum strength formula out now that is awesome!

I try to always end up with 2 sets every week :D We subscribe to a local (well, next bigger town) paper, plus I try to pick up the Chicago Tribune at the store. The Chicago Trib usually has more coupons than the smaller paper, or sometimes they'll have a couple coupons for the same thing but one or the other will be worth more off!! Having 2 sets is nice when there's stuff I like to stock up on, and really great if you catch a Buy1Get1 sale (very often with vitamins!!) and use 2 coupons :D

I need to look into those flat rate envelopes because if I can drop it off directly at the main distro center It can cut a day off the delivery.

It cost $1.99 to send, not sure why it cost less than 2.34? I did use a little smaller padded envelope, I even added extra coupons because I knew my other train was not going to come before the 31th of this month and did not want the coupons to go bad so I just added them in.

I am VERY pleased with the coupons I got. I hope that everyone likes the ones I added to the mix.

To keep me motivated to keep on clipping (and because it's fun to watch it add up), I write down the total saved in coupons after each shopping trip. For 2007 I've saved about $615.00 :D (I do count things like CVS Extra Bucks, and Fashion Bugs $10 off "anything over $10" that they send out a couple times a year, when I use those :) )
