I am excited because the new season starts tonight. However, it's been delayed because of football. :(
Any Amazing Race fans out there?

Wow, a very diverse group this time....the bicycle ride on that wire was something else....that had to be scary......and the Mules.....that was funny, they are just that stubborn too! We use to have wild Burrows up here in Big Bear, that part of the show brought back memories, lol Truly a great show!

We enjoyed it too, and yep! we already have our favorites. So far, we like Ronald and Christina the best. Ronald is SO funny!
We were not at all sorry to see Ari and Staella go. The fact that they stole someone else's taxi annoyed us. Karma definitely came back and bit them in the b u t t!

I love this show. Not good with names so early on but I like the brother/sister, father, daughter and grandfather/grandson.

I can't remember names either this early on. I go to the website and look 'em up! :D
You like Ronald and Kristina (father/daughter), Azaria and Hendekea (brother/sister), and Nicolas and Donald (grandson/grandfather).

Yes I also like Ronald and Kristina (father & daughter), and Nicolas and Donald (grandfather & grandson). Not sure if they'll stick around long.

Darn it --I missed the start of another one-this is my favorite reality show!!

I read somewhere that the reason it made an early appearance is because another show didn't do well. I was surprised by its return date, and only discovered it was going to be on by accident.

Thank you. I looked up the teams on the website before the show started, didn't think to do it afterwards. I must be getting old!

The older people usually don't stick around long. I think the exception was the married couple from 2 or 3 seasons ago that made it to like the final 5 or something.
When the grandfather fell up the hill to the church in Ireland, I though that was it for them. Glad to see him shake it off and bounce back.
I almost always like the older ones because they seem to appreciate the trip and cultures and much as the race and money. I also feel they should get a lot of credit for doing the race, I don't think I could do half the stuff they do and I'm their age, but I ain't a youngster no more either.

I still like Kristina but not so much Donald.

He was pretty annoying! Amazing how you can be fond of someone one minute, and not so fond of 'im the next!
I didn't care about the ladies who got voted off one way or the other, so it was no great loss.

Glad to see Donald be a little nicer and he actually commented that he was too harsh. Maybe I like him again.
The blondes just annoyed me this episode. How many comments and cracks had to be made about Africa and its people? They came across as insensitive and racist. Happy that the cab driver kept the extra $1,000 as I think he understood every word they said.
Also, the sisters???? Why would they tell Lorena which camel to get the milk from???? They knew it was going to be them or us, that they were the final two teams to leave the challenge. I would've liked them to stay longer than Lorena and her boyfriend, but they deserved to go for that mistake.

Lorena's boyfriend Jason is the bomb! I am completely smitten with him because he was not a big jerk over Lorena's idiotic display. How many boyfriends would be so completely understanding and supportive? Personally, I wanted to slap her and tell her to get a grip! Jeesh! She did redeem herself a bit when she drank that milk. Not sure it's something I'd want to do.
Agree with ya about Donald. He's not perfect, but at least he tries.

Well, I'm bummed that Azaria and Hendekea were eliminated. I liked them!
I am SO ready for Jennifer and Nathan to go. If I have to listen to those two bicker for one more second, I think I'm gonna scream!
I like Christina, but I don't care much for Ronald--he whines too much. Other favorites: Kynt and Vyxsin. I think they are a really cool couple.

I felt the same way and thought for sure that Azaria and Hendekea would get a non-elimination round. I also can't stand Jen and Nathan. All she ever says is "It's not fair"!! Lady, it's a game! I also think Kynt and Vyxsin are a really cool couple. If you can get past all the pink, they seem to be good people!!! Hey, how's your weather?

It was reported in the NY Daily News review of this seasond that there would be no non-elimination legs this time around.
I was surprised Hendekia and Azaria fell so far so fast, one mistake at the airport really cost them. I was equally surprised that they didn't do the other detour. If Grandpa and Grandson (sorry, really bad with names) were already in the boat ahead of them, wouldn't their chances have been better to go the other way and hope it took less time?
Glad that Ron and Christina came in first, although he does get on ones nerves. It was nice to see them realize that getting alone and teamwork is what wins the race.
Jen and Nate are like nails on a chalkboard. Not so much him but her. I actually feel sorry for him and hope he dumps her.
I'm liking Kynt and Vixen or TK and girlfriend for the win.

My weather was terrible! In case you didn't hear, we didn't have power for 8 days!
Because of this, I missed the Amazing Race Sunday night. Can anyone tell me what happened?

I also missed the Survivor Finale. Someone taped it for me, but then someone else slipped and told me who won. :( Sigh!

Me too!!!!!!:( I have missed so much of the race this time due to the friggin sports running over. I use the DVR to record it. I think I'm going to watch my favorite show and I get 45 minutes of 60 minutes and 15 of amazing Race. It was just tonight that I finally saw a whole episode because I finally remembered to record Cold Case. That way if it ran over due to sports, I could still see the whole thing.
It was only when they made their parting comments that I realized that Kynt and Vyxsin are from my hometown. I have a real good idea of where they would hang out and I probably know people that know them. Seems like a small world sometimes!!
Funny, when I was younger and much cooler:rolleyes: we joked about all the goth people in the Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, KY.

The speed bump was the Yoga they had to do, which they did really well, if Kynt wouldn't of made the mistake with the tickets from delivering the Propane they would not of come in last place! I was bummed they were last, I wanted to see the whiney blond go...can't remember her name, but she really got to me!

That would be Jen and I want her to go so bad I can taste it.
Kynt's mistake with the delivery cost them dearly, but they should have U-turned Nate and Jen. They had to have had an inkling that the rest of the teams were in front of them. Nate and Jen were the only ones they saw at the Detour and they should have been U-turned just for being annoying if nothing else.

Ok, thats the one Jen, she is a whiney B! suprised they have made it this far in the race! I hope they do not win! I was also upset at that father and daughter team, he is a bear! just never listens to what she has to say and she is right!!

I hate Jen so of course she will win. I have a bad case of liking/rooting for losers.
I agree that the Dad is way too harsh, but sometimes it seems he gets it then bam! right back to harsh.

Sorry for not being clear, Dawn. That post was a response to the show that aired December 23. TK and Rachel came in next-to-last. I wish they would've came in last, rather than Kynt and Vyxsin.
Yeah, Kynt and Vyxsin made a major mistake by not using the U-turn on Jen and Nathan. That frustrated the you-know-what out of me! I agree, they did an awesome job with the Yoga.
Ronald does not do well under stress, and he can be really nasty when he's stressed. Afterwards, he's repentant, but that sure as heck doesn't make up for it!
I have a bad case of liking/rooting for losers too, LOL! The team I was rooting for won once, and they were BJ and Tyler, the goofy guys from CA.
Dawn, neat that Kynt and Vyxsin are from your hometown!

That was the best elimination ever. And on her birthday. However, I did expect more of a meltdown.
When Nate started crying when Jen said she thinks they killed their relationship, were those tears of joy?

I was thrilled that Nate and Jen went! especially on her B-Day too, what a whiner...he should dump her faster than a bad habit. I did like him but her...geesh!
I like all the teams that are left, so it should be interesting from now on.

I don't know who to root for, I like all 3 remaining teams.
Ron and Christina - he has grown and changed a little, she is sweet and smart.
TK and Rachel - fun, laid-back, ran the race without really bashing the other teams.
Gramps and Grandson (names escape me at this time) - great chemistry for two different generations, sweet together.
I think I would really like to see an older person finally win instead of the usually young married or dating couple. So that leaves dad & daughter or gramps and grandson.

Welp, it was TK and Rachel! Well-deserved since Rachel figured out that last tricky challenge.
Still wish it had been Ronald and Christina though.
