I was kinda thinking it would be fun to share our desktop backgrounds with each other by attaching a pic or linking to the site or d/l where you got it from. Would add a little color to our posts, anyway :D

Believe it or not, right now it is a picture of me up on our roof holding a shingle. I "helped" when my husband and his brothers re-roofed our house. I handed his brother the shingles and then he used a nail gun to attach them. My husband always changes our desktop picture to something from our digital pictures that he downloads to the computer.

Is it telling you the file is too large? If so, you can compress you pictures. Let me know if you need help with this. :)

You could, as a last ditch effort try clicking "start" then "search" then in the text box enter "***.jpg". If there's anything that hasn't been written over yet, it might come up.

This is one of my very favorite pictures. I took it at our annual pyrotechnics convention (no boring meetings, we have a real blast!)(pun intended). It's what's on my desktop right now. Thank heaven for digital cameras & lots of memory cards. In previous years, I'd shoot roll after roll of film & get a few reasonably good pictures. Now, I set up 2 cameras on tripods & just click away... Go back to the travel trailer, or to a friendly bonfire, enjoy a refreshing adult beverage, & ditch the pics that are not up to par. At the end of the week, I go home with hundreds of decent pics! The only things missing? The noise - oh, how I love the noise; the smoke - once that smoke has caught you, you are never the same; the people - like a weeklong family reunion, and everybody likes each other!

Carol... Yes, it has gone by SO fast!!!!! We are so blessed that he is doing very well. He weighs 12 lbs!!! His little cheeks are sooo chubby, you really can't see them in the pic. He makes the cutest pouty face right before he is going to cry. It's so funny because he will look around to see if he can see or hear Mom or Dad, if he does he makes his pouty face and whimpers. If that doesn't work, he looks around again and whimpers a little louder...LOL! It is too cute! He doesn't have an annoying screaming cry like most babies. :)

I have Paint Shop Pro X2 but haven't installed it yet. I want to wait until we get out new graphics card...LOL! Wanda can check it out here Corel (http://http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite/us/en/Product/1184951547051). I think they might even have a trail version you can download for free. my desktop is a 3 dimensional cube I made...You can toggle the cube around, therefore, having 4 separate desktops...besides the fact that's it's super cool :D it is perfect for my line of work...i like things that are both functional and cool...

I have a scan of a Hallmark card that my stepfather got last year for his birthday. It is a Boston Terrier lying on top of ALOT of toilet paper, with a "who, me?" look on his face...Our Prince used to do the same thing if he was left alone in his room (the bathroom) and the nightlight blew out...except that he would take his little claws and put holes in each sheet so that the entire roll was useless....
