I bought one years ago for a really sweet mixed breed who, unfortunately, weighed 110 pounds and thought that he should lead, not I, and he pulled me through a flower bed. I now use one on my 100+ pound Lab mix. It is made so that it pulls their head down when they try to pull you and a dog will stop if he can't see where he is going. It doesn't hurt them, just makes them look down at the ground if they pull too hard. It is fantastic. I bought mine at the vet. I don't know if you can buy them anywhere else. I highly recommend one if your dog walks you instead of the other way around.

Thanks so much for telling us about this! I have two dogs who love to walk us. It's a huge problem, but I've hated the idea of a spiked or pinch collar. I will definitely check this out. Thanks again!
