Morning!
I would love to hear from anyone who loves their camcorder! Ours just died (I think we used it twice over the past 4 years . . . but now we have a baby, and want to catch some of those moments that go by so fast!!)
Any suggestions??
Thanks!!

I guess no one has any recommendations for ya, Wendi! I have a camcorder, but it's not digital. Sorry!
Can anyone recommend a good digital camera?

No, I am, LOL! My camcorder is 11 years old! I definitely think you will want a digital one, that way you can put your videos on the computer. Why don't you go to Amazon.com and read some of the reviews there? That's probably what I'll do when it comes time to get a camera. Good luck!

I was just thinking about my camcorder, mine is almost 13 years old, gee time flies........and I agree Amazon has some great prices and reviews, you can also get reviews at CNET, I think that is the name...I did see one on QVC the other day that was less than 300 if I remember correct, you can always check in there too, they allow reviews now in QVC.
I just checked a few in QVC, gee there is alot to choose from, but not only do you want a camcorder you will want to look at how many pixels the camera comes in,,,,I saw one with 7.2 mega pixels and some with just 1........that makes a difference in price, you want a high mega pixel if you are taking pics of your baby.

Carol, are you happy with your new digital camera? Does it take clear, sharp pictures inside and out?

You know, I am ashamed to say this, I still have not used it! I have the book out, but have not played around with it yet....I did take a few pics when I got it, and I am very impressed with the pics, but I have not hooked it up to the computer yet....I bought the Sony Cyber-Shot, Model DSC-S650 it is a 7.2 Mega Pixel with 3X Optical Zoom, and I got it on sale for $129.00.
OK, I just took the camera out and took a few pic's they look terrific....I also looked it up on Amazon, you can still get it for $129.00 on there....here is the site with reviews, I am only going to use this camera occasionally, maybe to post pics on Ebay, so this is good enough for me, the pics look really nice and crisp and sharp.

Here's 2 places to go & read reviews from those techie people that test all those electronic gizmos:
http://www.pcmag.com/ Click on the tab @ the top labeled: Reviews
http://www.cnet.com/ Click on the tab @ the top labeled: Reviews
I rely on these 2 sites along with amazon.com, & sometimes I will go to consumerreports.org also.
The big item to look for when purchasing Any electronic gadget: Read & understand the Return Policy.
Hope this helps someone!:o
