This may be a strange "product" to post, but it makes life so much easier. When filling out all those forms for freebies, just click "Autofill" on the Google toolbar and you save your fingers alot of typing. It is also great for filling out forms for contests. I know there are alot of other form filling programs that you can get and boy do I suggest all of you get one. Many years and computers ago, I had something like this and had forgotten all about it. When I went to contestgirl.com (which I read about on a different post on here), she suggested it and I am sure glad that I got it. Go to her site and she gives you direct links to a couple of these. Roboform is another one that alot of people like. Here are links to both of them.

i was happy to discover the autofill on the google toolbar its the best feature but the popup blocker ist very good on it doesnt block as well as aol's but it does have a pagerank which comes in handy for you sample and survey seekers it will rank the page

The only problem I have noticed with the Google toolbar is that sometimes it blocks pop-ups that I actually wanted to see. When this happens I just right click and uncheck google until I am done with what I need to look at. Of course I have 4 different toolbars, so it's no problem. That AutoFill sure has saved me tons of time though, so I definitely am glad to have it!

It does have a limited time for unlimited password storage and probably some other features, but not for form filling. When you are toward the end of your time you will start getting little messages from them where they are trying to get you to upgrade, but they will not take away anything to do with form filling.

No problem. I was wondering if we should change the title of this thread to include Roboform or maybe just title it "Form Filling Programs." It won't let me edit the title, but maybe you can do it since you are a mod. If you want to change it go ahead.

I like Roboform much better than autofill. I think it more thoroughly fills things out. If you keep the same password at most sites it will still automatically fill out a main password too. Those messages will stop soon about activating it--once they stopped for me I have never received another one. I don't remember how long it happens but it wasn't very long.

I like it alot. I just click on it and it fills in my information for free samples, contests, Deal or No Deal at home entries, etc. I have never used Roboform so I can't tell you which one is better though. I figured if you wanted an option for a free form filler, I'd let you know about this one.

So, over time I've seen people say, and in skimming this thread as well, that the form-fillng feature of RoboForm never stops working? So, I *finally* downloaded it a while back (probably a month or so), got addicted... and now it won't fill out forms anymore. For a while when I clicked "no" I don't want to buy, it went ahead and worked, but now it just does nothing! Any ideas? Did they "fix" this "problem" (in their eyes ;) ) in the current version I have?
Wonder if I can get an older version...

Sometimes you just have to use a basic search, like the word "form", it comes right up. The search can be touchy, but I have used it so many times I kinda have it figured out.

Thanks for posting this! I HAVE to get this RoboForm downloaded today. I have to admit I did get a little bummed seeing that it is a 30-day free trial. I don't see where anyone posted that they had to put credit card info down because that I won't do! It sounds from you all that you can still keeping using it after the 30-day trial period so that's good.

Believe it or not i just got this a few days ago. I love it! I was using my auto fill that came on my pc it did ok.I was on dial up for years and it just takes to long to download things. I recently got a new pc and last week finally got DSL. OMG Its so nice so I treated myself to some new things.Roboform was one of those. You won't be sorry you got it.

I think mine was a free version.I don't think anyone here pays for it. We'll see what others say but I'm pretty sure theres a free version and thats what I have.

I don't know of one either, please report back if you ever do find one.
Altho since so many sample sites require cookies and sometimes don't work with Opera, I generally use Firefox for sample stuff... I like to keep stuff turned off in Opera to use that for general surfing. Still, I'd be interested in trying something for it.

I've had Roboform Pro for a few years now and I love it, but I've recently changed my default browser to Chrome because it's so much faster than Firefox. You would think that Google would've at least incorporated the Auto-Fill into their browser since they make it available on their toolbar.

I can't seem to find where the free version of roboform is... my IT son rebooted my computer yesterday and it took mine off... wiped out all my favorites... I've used roboform for so long... I don't remember what my passwords are. To give him credit.... my computer is a WHOLE lot faster.

Go to www.roboform.com (http://www.roboform.com) there is a gold bar running across the page with choices--click on home download--then it is your first choice listed on the page!;)

I have that, but I find it annoying when on some pages I dont need to enter information on, it pops up on my screen.

Thanks for posting your opinions about this. I manually fill out forms and it stinks. I've heard about RoboForm but wasn't sure about it. I going to start using that now. Thanks for your advice.
