What did everyone think of this show?

I was skeptical at first, but I am addicted now.

I did watch it.....I think the kids are incredible for taking on such a challenge, this is something they will never forget, and the little 8 year old who went home, I felt so bad for him, (what a cutie!) he was so homesick. I love how they have divided the groups into 4 with different jobs, and ways to earn money...what an experience!!! I really like this show.

I did not get a chance to watch it but my kids did and they are hooked. My two girls are in 6th grade and have to write a paper after each show.

I didn't get to watch the whole show, but I was really impressed with how much some of the kids stepped up and how responsible some of them seemed to be. Seemed like some of them showed more inititative and drive than some adults do!

I know those kids have more drive than half of the people in the world. It was just amazing.

My family and I watched and will watch from here on out- we discuss with the kids what things they might have done differently and so on... great learning show!!

Not yet, but it looks like next week she sure will.

I really enjoy this show. It is inspiring to see how mature some of the kids are. (I hope the boy from the yellow team that is a hard worker gets a star one of these times). And on the other end of the spectrum it is interesting to see how bad some of them are... like "miss beauty queen".

Does anyone else have a huge problem with seeing then do "shots" and acting like they are "drinking"? I found and still find this behavior unbecoming of kids- as a parent- if my child was on there and "pretending" I would have a serious talk with them- drinking is for grown-ups- it can be dangerous- and I just do not see the point in this show having this kind of thing go on. It is very disturbing to me to think kids still think it is so "cool" to drink. I love this show- I think Taylor needs a big dose of reality and gets off her high horse soon- I just wish that the drinking aspect of this show would stop.

I am so glad that Taylor was voted off the Council. I was worried because she has all those friends on her team. The only thing I find sad about this is that now Zach can't qualify for the gold star- and he deserved it. I was really hoping that he would get it this week and then maybe Greg could have gotten it next week instead. Boy, it was really shocking that Mike was voted off the council too, but I think the others didn't like how he would always say "shut up" to them when everyone was talking- he wasn't too bad as a leader, but could have been a little more respectful to others. I would have liked to see Olivia voted in, but she was not the nicest telling Anjay "I don't believe you" when he said he would listen to her more in the future. I guess we don't see everything that is going on, so it is hard to say who is right or wrong in that situation. I think I am addicted to this show-lol. By the way, you can go to cbs.com to catch any episodes that you miss. I also went there to make sure I got the names right for each of the kids I was mentioning in this post.

Tonight was a great episode- I am hoping Taylor keeps up her antics and maybe gets thrown out and sent home. Man she is spoiled bad!!!!

tonight was a great show!!! Taylor really needs to stop acting like that. Its sad to say but she will grow up and still be a spoiled little brat. She will make one man very miserable when she grows up!! I'm glad the picked the fruits and veggies! Maybe I should try that with my daughter then she will be more than happy to eat her veggies!! ha ha

It is interesting to think about how people that know Taylor will react, after seeing this show. Maybe she will be shamed into not being so spoiled- it's nice to think that she can change. I hope when she watches the show she has a huge wake-up call and sees how bad she acts.

I am really glad that DK stayed. He seems like a really nice kid- and from Illinois too!

I wasn't home Wednesday night so I had to tape this show. I thought it was really good. It is very obvious how "the journal" creates some of the situations on the show, but I guess that is how the 'adults' can influence the show a little. They were complaining about Taylor for such a long time in the beginning and didn't let them have an election until much later, so I sure wasn't expecting another election this soon! It definitely is keeping my interest- I will be watching next week for sure!

I definitely think adults do have a say- I never see kids wearing 2-3 shirts/sweatshirts and coats and gloves on their own!! I have to force my kids too- I am glad to see the kids out of the "drinking" phase- that was very disturbing to me-

I think Hunter deserved the gold star this week, but I am still hoping that Zach will get one! Only a few to go. Isn't it funny how bad they make Taylor look. I guess it isn't hard since they have alot to work with. Sometimes I think the kids are hamming it up to the camera though. I really wonder if they don't try to get kids to comment on certain things. I am still enjoying the show though.

I really enjoyed this show as well. I am soooo HAPPY that Zach got a star- he really deserved it. I figured Sofia would get one of the $50,000 stars, but was quite surprised by the other two.
