Warning..Seargents Gold is poison for your pets!...Well at least mine.

I aquired this sample on a website (not sure which one) and used it Wednesday night on my 7 month old peke. She had a bad reaction...very bad. For a puppy that absolutely does not bark unless she is playing, she began to bark excessively, run around in circles, biting at her butt, whinning/crying and throwing up hours later. I felt sooooo bad for doing this to her. Took her to the vet and he gave her a shot for nausea and told me to give her another bath and let the shampoo stay on for at least 15 minutes (I had already given her one about six hours before). I will be going to the vet each month from now on to buy Frontline ($15). I thought that I would lose her. She is fine now and back to her old self...thank God. :)

I just wanted to warn everyone. Some dogs may not have a reaction but mine did.

OMG poor pup! I got this too and was planningon using it after the Frontline wore off. I will definately rethink that. Thanks for the head's up and I am glad your pup is on the mend! I would tell the company for sure.

You're welcome and thanks. You feel so terrible when your pet acts and feels strange and they look at you to make it go away...and I did help her as much as I could. Pets need 2 be held when they don't feel good just like babies. And when I held her in my arms it calmed her down until the sergeants wore off.
