The Lake House

My husband and I watched the movie The Lake House the other night and it was really good! The movie starred Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. You have to pay close attention to the movie as it has some twists to it but it was really good!

Definitely a good rental choice!

We watched this recently as well. My husband and I both agreed this was the best movie we have seen in a long time. Keanu Reeves redeamed his skater/surfer stereotype in our eyes.

I love this movie, but it is a little hard to follow at times when your switching back and forth between the years.

I really enjoyed the Lake House. I was wondering why the critics gave it such a bad review? They really ripped it apart, and I thought it was pretty good. Just goes to show you, you have to watch things for yourself-I'm glad you all liked it


I just wanted to add, for anyone that liked The Lakehouse......check out: "The Notebook" excellent movie as well (hard to recommend something, because I'm worried others peoples tastes are not the same as mine) but, I REALLY enjoyed it, have a box of kleenex, but, it's a happy tear, not deep in the heart sad-

Great movie! But make sure you have everything done and you don't have to get up during the movie or you will get lost!

I own The Notebook, but it is hard to watch if your in-laws are going through it. I connected too much with the movie.

I can't believe I never posted here. I loved this movie. As someone else said though, don't watch it and do something else. You've really gotta pay attention. I agree that Sandra and Keanu are great together.
