Dimatap recall?

Has anybody heard about this? My sister said some of the Dimatap was recalled because of what they used to mix it with. This was the first I heard of it (could of strangled her for not mentioning sooner since she works for a pediatrition). :confused:

I did do a search on Google and Snopes (love that site) and I did find the outdated recall. I will be speaking to her again today and find out where the Dr. got his information from and when exactly. She just told me in passing the other day when I tried to confirm with her the dosage for the baby she had said "Dont give him that, it was recalled and we tossed ours about a month ago." She said it was not the actual medication but a non medicated part of the syrup. I will post again after I speak with her to get more info. I just wanted to see if anyone else had any info. Sorry if i freaked anyone out that was not my intention or was it my intention to spread rumors on outdated info.
