It is true, (suicide attempt) but he is human & we do not know all the details...they say he was on Heroin and Cocaine....and was depressed.....he is still in the hospital, hopefully getting the help he needs. Money does not buy happiness does it? They will release the 911 call soon.

I've always enjoyed his movies and hope he gets help. Very true that money and fame doesn't buy happiness. Shame the media won't leave him alone. This has to be the hardest thing he's been through and the press is releasing something new on him every few hrs.

Times like this are when I really hate the media. There is no need to constantly be talking about him and speculating on what happened. Yes he's a celebrity, but above all he is a real person. He has feelings and problems just like the rest of us, and it is very callous of the media to use his pain for profit. :( :mad:

The other night I was watching one of the news networks and they kept talking about "Owen Wilson's Private Pain" while they recited his request for privacy during this difficult time. Okay, I'm confused about how they could call their segment "Owen Wilson's Private Pain" when they were camped outside of the hospital and talking about him nonstop. There's nothing private about it when they won't leave him alone. Can't we just let these people be? They are only human and have problems just like the rest of us. It's so ridiculous for so many different news channels to be spending so much time on things like this and they're all speculating different things which may or may not be true. Are we all really that shallow? Don't we have anything better to focus our attention on? :confused: FYI - I love Owen Wilson and think he is an awesome actor. I just don't think it's necessary for the media to delve into his personal life just to pretend like they care when all they want is ratings.

P.S. - I'm sick to death of hearing about Britney, Paris and Lindsay's every move. I - DON'T - CARE! I think it's sick that people get paid so much money to snap pictures of these people (Paris Hilton) who don't do anything to deserve that much attention. It sickens me that so many young girls look up to them as role models. :eek:
