my best friend went to the doc today... after a pap smear and pelvic exam, doc sent her for some blood work. signs are pointing to ovarian cancer.
she asked that i not use her name, and says just say a prayer of thanks that we have her, and that she has her friends. i am asking for prayers for her, that the doctors find no cancer and whatever is wrong will be minor and easily cured.

she got her results back, and they're NEGATIVE!!!!

when she told me that they were looking at ovarian cancer, my response was, "no, it's gonna be ok, we're gonna pray on this, and it's all gonna gonna be ok... we're gonna pray and pray hard..."

i always say a prayer of thanks, whether it's the outcome i was hoping for or not... after all, it's His will. i found out the good news at work, and right there in the bakery i cried and just kept saying thank you Jesus... and i silently said a long prayer of thanks!
