Prayer for Bagel

As I addressed in the Pets Forum, my Beagle, Bagel, has been diagnosed with diabetes and is in the animal hospital. Hes very, very sick. He was one of 20 national winners in the Purina Alpo contest a few months ago, and his picture and story will be in a dog manual put out by Purina in May. My vet is giving him a 70% chance of pulling through, however, I'm just worried about my baby. I just lost my other dog Zoey a few months back, and I cant bear the thought of losing Bagel too. Everyones prayers helped Zoey pull through her surgery last year, and am hoping it will help my Bagel pull through as well. Thank you everyone!

Thank you everyone for the prayers. I am sorry to say though that I lost him this afternoon. Luckily I went to see him this morning, and I knew he wasnt doing well. My vet called me a couple hours ago and let me know he passed. If I would have known I never would have left him. I'm gonna miss him so much. I'm just heartbroken.

I am so sorry to hear this. I lost my dog recently as well. He was my little buddy and I loved him so much. I miss him every day. Please find peace in that you took great care of him and did everything you possibly could for him.

Thanks Carol...I have just cried and cried all afternoon and evening...I must look like Ive been at a pot smoking festivel....my eyes are almost swollen shut...it happened so fast...thank god I went and saw him this morning...I'm gonna miss my little boy so much...he was my baby....I'm gonna have a rough day tomorrow...I think I'm still in shock from all of this....I need to sleep soon...maybe I'll feel better when I get up.....I'll talk to you soon...thank you for being there for me....

I'm so sorry for the loss of your beloved dog. I too am very attached to my dog and have lost a few in the past, so I feel your grief. Often times people who do not have great love for an animal, do not understand how hard it can be. Many {{{hugs}}} to you. ~We3Kings~

Collette, I hope you got some sleep. I know how hard this is, I felt like that when our Murphy passed. Animals are a wonderful thing, they bring so much love to our everyday life and ask nothing in return. Our Angie is 8 years old now, and I just wish I could freeze her in time so she would not get any older. I love her so much.
Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and if there is anything I can do I am here for you. HUGS
