I picked one up today while purchasing other cards. It's a way to promote breast cancer research. I got one for my mom who's been detected twice and has lived through radiation therapy (not chemo).

Cards for the Cure 2009
Inside:
Just making sure your day is full of smiles.
Message:
The 2009 Cards for the CureŽ design includes a story from Hallmark master artist Stacey Lamb who sent cards and made phone calls to both her brother and her sister-in-law throughout treatment for breast cancer. Stacey's story serves as a reminder that support for co-survivors – the family, friends and caregivers who lend support – is a vital need along the breast cancer journey.
The purpose of the Cards for the Cure program is to remind people of the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Cards are available free of charge in Hallmark Gold CrownŽ stores.
