We have a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, and a Nintendo DS. We also have a Playstation and Playstation 2. We bought all of these over the years as they came out and just can't bear to part with any of them. They are all still in use at one time or the other depending on our mood.

Would like to have a Wii, but I refuse to pay more than the suggested retail price. We will just have to continue being patient, I guess!

My husband has an XBox. He usually only owns one game at a time. He plays it until he's sick of it and then gets something else. Right now, it's a college basketball game and a few months ago it was the new Tiger Woods golf game. He also likes the Madden football game and some college football game. I've told him before to get a few different games to alternate so he doesn't get sick of them so quickly, but he won't. Every once in a while he will rent a game that he's heard about, but more than likely, he won't like it.

I think I would enjoy the Nintendo Wii since it seems like it is a lot more interactive, but I couldn't care less about the XBox.

lemmonflower, how did you get a Wii? I have been looking all over the place for months and can't find one. Of course, I was never willing to stand in line for days on end, or buy one on eBay for twice the retail price. I told my kids they'd just have to be patient! It annoys me when companies release something for sale when they don't have enough supply to meet demand. It doesn't make any sense to me.

We have a PS2 (for my sons and hubby), and a few Gameboy Advances (my sons). Other than that, I am online doing games. I like to play VMK (if you haven't heard about it.. ask your kids), and I have my Sims, and RCTC3.
I have tried out Virtual Villagers Lost Children and I really liked it. I am not into war games and such, as my sons are small still and if I bust out a combat game they would want to sit and watch.. walk the walk sorta thing .. so I choose not to play those.
VMK is really addicting though, so is RCTC3. Sims is kinda getting old to me now... maybe time to update.

I love this system!!! It promotes more than just hand movement, which is good for ones body, unlike other systems in which a person only uses thier hands and slight are movement. Once in a while a game might call for foot movement like racing games. However, either way you look at it the Wii gets you off that couch/chair so people get thier blood pumping, which is good for the heart!!!

I admit the graphics are not as good as other system/s, but they will be in time!!

Almost forgot, I/we have - Wii, PS1-3, Xbox, game boys, Sega Genisis, Atari, Origanal Nintindo, Game Cube, Sega handheld, and lastly, CPU gaming!!!

WOW, I am so excited, we/they are sooooooo close to virtual reality gaming. I can barely wait!!!!

I have a Nin 64, PS2 and just recently purchased the Wii. I'm a real Zelda fan, so I had to break down and buy it finally. I had been considering it since the Wii came out.

Found Wii at Best Buy on Memorial Day. Had been calling around to different stores for a couple of weeks before that.

I also really enjoy playing DragonQuest VIII.

We have PS1, PSP, XBox, GameBoy color, GameBoy Advance and(gulp) 3 PS2s. We have so many of the latter because my husband, my brother and I all play SOCOM online and we were tired of fighting over whose turn it was to play next. My brother refers to the game as "video crack"...it is that addicting. We have yet to scrounge up the funds to purchase our next system, which will be either the 360 or the PS3. We might just have to wait a few years until the price drops considerably. ((sigh))

Okay, I'm not big on the video games. We have a PS1, PS2, XBOX, XBOX 360, XBOX LIVE, 2 Gameboys and 3 Gameboy Advanced. We also have countless other video game gadgets. It seems like at least once a day I am breaking up a fight with the kids over something silly. The XBOX Live is intense. My oldest and my husband get really into it. I know I sound like most other Moms when I say that I'd rather them be doing something else.

My hubby had a Playstation, but it got stolen when his old roommate moved out..too many people helping I guess. Anyway, after that he begged me for awhile for an XBox but I kept telling him it wasn't in our budget. I eventually saved up and surprised him with one. 2 months later he sold it to one of his friends and asked for a different system!! The first X-Box not the 360 is not that expensive...you can go to game stop or a video game store and get one that has been refurbished for really cheap. just a heads up! :)

Debbie, I feel the same way with a four-year-old! Thanks for the good laugh! My system is a Fisher Price Read With Me DVD system, or my personal laptop with the really important software loaded on it like Microsoft Office and Bob the Builder Builds a Park.
