You might want to have your thyroid checked. Good luck!

Go to the doctor!! Please!! alot of women and men lost there hair, there is a condition that does this, now I am not saying this is what you have, alot of things can cause hair loss, stress!, diet, surgery? After my surgery for knee replacement I was losing my hair also, that lasted for about 4 months, I did not have bald spots but I could see the difference when I brushed my hair. You can also do a search on google to see what the possibilities are, goodluck! and let us know, we care!

I agree that you need to go to the doctor. There could be a medical reason why you are losing your hair. Good luck!

I lost hair during my pregnancy and at night i would wear a shower cap to keep from pulling and breaking it off while I slept. Another big thing is not to pull your hair up everyday and try to limit the amount of heat sources on your hair each day. Putting a qurater size portion of moisturizing conditioner on and leaving it all day helps to keep hair moisturized. Hope these things might help!!

I think, too, that you should cut down on using shampoo. It surely can't hurt! Condition, just don't shampoo every day.

Is your hair longer than it used to be? I've been growing mine out and having little freak out episodes every morning after looking at my pillow. My stylist told me it wasn't that I was losing MORE hair, it was just that it was longer, and therefore much more noticeable.
I also take biotin (a hair/skin/nails supplement you can get at drug stores). Alot of people have taken it after chemo to help hair grow back. Since I started, my nails grow so fast I have to cut them constantly, and my hair is the same way.
