I have tried the Pro-Age body wash which is pretty good, but with my dry skin I have to aply lotion the second I get out of the shower anyway. But it still feels really good in the shower if you have dry skin.
The Pro-Age Body Cream Oil is great on my dry skin!!!!!! It is a rich lotion, like Alpha-Keri, for very dry skin. I recommend it highly.
I got a sample from online of the Pro-Age Rich Night Cream for your face, it is great also! My face is dry and sensitive, breaks out with a lot of creams. This is pretty good so far, makes my skin really soft and looks good in the morning. as good as 52 year old dry facial skin can look, HA.
One of my many complaints with Dove products---I dont care what it is, it all smells the same. My sample of Dove Body Wash (cherry vanilla scent I believe) smells like the sandlewood one, which smells like the Pro-Age bady wash, which smells like the Cream Oil which smells like the Face Night Cream!!!! They all smell like Vanilla and I hate vanilla. the only one that smells different is the Cool Moisture with its nice green tea fragrance. But it is not moisturizing enough for me.
but to summarize, LOVE the Pro-Age Cream Oil and Night Ceam and I can deal with the fragrance. Try it for dry skin!

Try Dove soap, I have used this as far back as I can remember, it is the only bar soap I use, I love the smell, the feel (soft and creamy) and it moisturizes too, not a bunch but better than regular soap. I know everyone has there favorites, just wanted everyone to know how nice Dove is, also if you have not tried it the new Dove liquid hand soap is great too, I received a sample and fell in love with it! I have bought 3 bottles so far, thanks to that sample!

Dove bar soap is OK but it doesnt moisturize my skin any more than any other soap. I have to load up on lotion after I get thru with a shower, no matter what I use. I have had to do that all my life, I just have dry skin., but I like my Lever 2000 because It has deoderizers in it. Here in Birmingham I need all the help I can get in this heat! I have been using different body washes, one is a Dove sample I got, cant remember what it is, it is OK, just has that vanila smell. One is Caress, which I got free with a coupon from Unilever. It is OK, had to get used to the fragrance. I use the Lever 2000 soap for underarms and the body washes for all over. Guess that is just too much information isnt it?? But hey, when it is 95 degress outside in the shade, you do what ya got to do to stay smellling like a southern belle!

Leezme - Have you ever tried Oil of Olay Ribbons? It is incredible for moisture and comes in several really light fragrances. I have always been a huge fan of Oil of Olay...seems to work, everyone is always telling me I look like I am in my mid twenties and I am 37!
Here's a link for more information!

I totally agree with you on this product, Leez! I know I'm a bit young to be using "Pro-Age" products, but my skin is extremely dry due to medications, and the cream oil is the first thing I've found that actually works! I must go through a bottle a week, but I do get compliments on how soft my skin feels. :D

Even though I often wash my face in dove.Mostly I wash in dove but my face is washed with a face cleaner( Morning showers).when I bath at night my face wash is in the shower so I use dove at night. No matter what I wash my face in I follow it up with a moisturizer and day or night cream plus various others but.. thats personal preference. If you don't use a good moisturizer your face could have a dry feeling after using any kind of soap.

Yes, but you should never use soap on the face, even with moisturizer. Soap will dry out your skin and ruin your complexion.
I knew a woman once whose skin care routine was Dial soap followed by rubbing alcohol! No wonder she had so much redness and wrinkles. You should always use a mild facial cleanser on your face. Never soap.

I havent used the Oil of Olay Ribbons, but I have to say, I am not an Olay lover I have tried lots of Olay samples and none of the facial stuff is moisturizing enough PLUS there is a smell in every product that just is yucky to me!!!! I dont care f it is face cream or bady lotion/wash, I can smell that same thing. But I have to admit, I did use to love Olay Facial Cleansing Cloths--they were great and didnt have that yucky smell I didnt like. All you had to do was wet them and clean your face, easy. Great for travel. Now I like the wet kind of cleansing towelettes, saves the step of washing at the sink!!! I have used Walgreens brand, and Ponds so far. I am LAZY, I like being able to get in bed, reach in my nighstand, get a towelette, and clean my face there!!!

Just curious, but did this woman by chance have acne? I know that as a young teen, I had bad acne and it was what my dermatologist recommended along with a very light moisturizer! Since Dial is antibacterial, it was believed to help in cleaning the skin. I know it's not good to use when your are more mature, but then it was the only thing that helped!

I don't know if she had acne growing up, but she didn't when I met her. (She was in her forties at the time.)

I'm not a big fan of Olay's body products, but I am a huge fan of Olay Total Effects face cream. I've been using it for years, and I can honestly say it works--I don't look anywhere near my age. ;)

I didnt look anywhere near my age until after menopause. That changed everything. I always had the prettiest, smoothest skin, long thick eyelashes. then starting around menopause, things started to change. your skin loses all elasticity, it droops, laugh lines deepen, and age catches up with ya!!! For almost 20 years I was a chemist, so I know all that crap about creams boosting collagen, removing wrinkles, etc is a crock. it simply cant happen. all a moisturizer or anti-aging cream can do is make your skin feel better and look better temporarily. NOTHING can change your skin without surgery or lasers or strong acid peels, dont believe the hype.
I was a Loreal Line Eraser user for years, now I just bounce around to whatever sample I get!!! But never an Olay user, just never liked it.
