My mom just bought me an albino (pure white) C0ckatiel to keep me company while I am at home.

Has anyone ever owned one and if you have how did you bathe them/have their cage set up? Do they need to eat fresh veggies and fruits everyday? I have googled this and found so many different responses. Just wanted to know if any of you know from first hand experience. Etc.... Thanks for any advice.

just stick a bowl of water in there in the morning and they will bath themselves. if no extra water is available they will use there drinking water. nuts fruit seeds. mine ate just about anything. Certain seed like sunflowers should be given in moderation because it can make them hyper.

We have six right now. I put some warm water in a spray bottle and spray them every couple of days. They will show you how pretty they are and either talk or sing to you, they put their heads down and will extened their feathers out. They love a radio or a t.v. and whistle whistle whistle they will pick up your whistle. make sure the spray is just a light spray! enjoy we do:o

http://www.letstalkbirds.com/****atiels.htm Check this site out. My mom does not feed them fresh fruit/veggies everyday as hers are picky and really just want ****atiel bagged seed(seeds, dried fruit and nuts).
