New Floors...or New Paint...what should go first?

We're going to get new hardwood floors and paint the inside of our house, in your opinion, what should we do first?
New hardwood floors or paint it first then new floors?
We're really having a hard time deciding what shades/style too, we looked at so many and I say it could be an expensive mistake if we end up with something that doesn't look just right...
any suggestions?

Paint first so that you don't have to worry about getting it on the floor!;)

I would think getting the new paint first, because you wouldnt have to worry about getting any on the new floor. But if you get the floors first you may change your mind on the shade of paint, depending on how the floors turn out.
We have remodeled our entire house, and painting is something I am no good at...I get it everywhere! :o

I would do the pant first also if it gets banged up a little you can go back and do touch ups.

I would pick out the flooring first then take a sample of that when you pick out the paint and look at it on the room that it is going in.
