Spring Training...

Is about to start here in the Grapefruit League. The Tampa Bay Rays are going to be playing about 10 miles north of me....and all of the weekend games are already sold out....:(

I still cannot believe that the hex I put on City of Palms Park in 2004 did the opposite.....Dang Red Sox!!!!:(

(If you cannot already tell, I am a rabid Yankees fan!!!! :D And yes, I remember watching Bucky "Effing" (Effing is the Red Sox nickname for him) Dent's homer and screaming my lungs out in happiness!!!)

I'm a Padres fan so naturally I hate your Yanks for 1998's walloping of us (semi-kidding, or am I? :)), but honestly at this point I'd rather be a fan of any other team. About the only good things I can say about the Pads right now are that we still have Peavy and Giles (his HR #s may be down but he's always a 100% all-out guy like Peavy and we seem to lack in them otherwise). No more Hoffman after a "down" year for him which would be an up year for a lot of pitchers, and no more Khalil Greene aka Mr. Webgem...this is going to be a really boring season unless we get some surprises from rookies. Good luck to the Yanks - I think they've had enough of a break from World Series play...they're due for something. And I am glad the Phils beat the Rays in the series last year. :)

Red Sox fan here,and was i ever happy when we beat your yankees in yankee stadiuim!!!!!!!!!!!!! that made up for the bucky dent homerun. i will tell you now, A-rod, is a jinx!! how far our they:Dgoing to go without him. it will be an interesting season.:D
