I don't know if your city has this yet, but here in Louisville out McDonalds have Redbox movie rentals. Go to http://www.redbox.com and there is a link for a free movie rental at the top. You have to enter you email address, and then they send you the code.

I use redbox at Albertsons in Spokane, Wa. You don't have to deal with anyone, they always have the new releases, and I get new free promo codes atleast once a week.

I went and got my free rental today and my husbands(always sign him up too). It was fast and simple instructions when you use the red box. Its fast and easy and cheap!

yes

its real easy you can use a debit or credit card..

when you use a code you have to hit the button that says "rent with a Promo code"

once you use the redbox machine it saves your e-mail address so next time you don't have to keep typing it in..

i learned not look at the pictures of movies available on the side of the machine, its never correct you have to go into the screens and look at the titles yourself.. because alot of the time the more popular movies are all rented out...

Redbox is great! I get a free rental code emailed to my cell phone every Monday because I put in my e-mail address initially with my first rental. I've probably rented at least 5 or 6 different movies and it is so easy! The Redbox near me is about 5 miles away in my grocery store, Giant Eagle. I recommend this highly! :D

Here's a code to use for a free movie rental at Redbox: DVDONME. I didn't find an expiration date in the email that I received from them. I also signed up for their free movie Monday. Every Monday they text me a code to use for a free movie. Even if you don't have a code, rental is only $1.00 per moive. We have used it several times and love it.

We absolutely LOVE the Red Box DVD Rentals at our local McDonalds! It is very simple to use. The DVD's can be returned to ANY Red Box location.

The cost is only $1.00 per DVD, and they are new releases!

We are hooked and go nowhere else to rent DVD's anymore!

We put in our email, so we get emails for every transaction (rental/return) and have even gotten an email code for a free rental! :D

These are new to our area (within a month or so).

I imagine they will run the chain movie rental places out of business! We were paying nearly $3.00 per new release, and then if we kept it an extra day for any reason, it was another $3.00.

At Red Box they are $1.00 per nite, can be kept for an unlimited number of nights (at $1.00 each), and as of the 26th night... they are yours (I can't imagine anyone keeping a DVD that long, but I guess some people have for that policy to be in effect)!

Didn't see the link for Inside Reb Box when it was merged so I'm posting it.

This is where you can get free codes by your state, etc., find out which ones work or don't, and post to that effect.

This is a trial and error type thing. Print out the codes and take them with you. I've been doing this for months. Some work and some don't for your area.

1. Need a debit or cr card.
2. Select - Rent with promo code.
3. Need to enter email address.
4. Rental period is until 9:00 p.m. the next night.
5. They will bill your card if not returned within the time frame.
6. They will send you an email that they have initially deducted the $1 charge.
7. Once the movie is returned within the time frame, they do send you and email that the charge was reversed.

We have them at all Walmarts here. If you sign up at Redbox.com they will send you a promo code for a free move, my husband and I both signed up our emails and we use different debits so we can both receive free movies, which they send out occasionally. We can not visit Walmart without getting a movie, and their CS dept is very nice if you need help.

If you go to http://www.redbox.com you can search where they are near your location. I searched Lincoln, NE for you and there are 5 of them, all at Hy-Vee stores. I think the search feature is neat, and also that if your usual spot is out of stock on a particular movie, you can see if any of the other local ones have it.

There's a RedBox in our Kroger! I'll do this next time I go, it seems kinda complicated, but I'll give it a try.

It's not complicated at all. When you walk up to the machine, just touch the box that says "rent movie using promo code". You will still have to swipe a card though in case you keep the movie more than one day. It will walk you through from there. Super easy!

I have used the "breakroom" code twice now & it worked both times (with my credit card one time & debit card the other). I hope this place puts Blockbuster out of business...or at least gets them to lower their prices!

Redbox movies are only $1 a day. If you rent a movie, then return it on time - it's a great deal. Unfortunately, our family wants to hang onto movies and watch them over and over again. So we end up paying $3-4 to rent a move by the time we are done with them.

We subscribe to Netflix so we can watch movies as long as we want and then return them. We have the $8.99 plan that allows us to have one movie at a time. Our video store in town rents movies for 5 days too - a great deal for us.
