Prayers For My Grandpa

We just found out earlier this week my grandfather has cancer. He is in his
70s and this was a shock to the whole family. The doctors are not saying much, the surgery to attempt to remove it is Feb 9. Please add him and our family to your prayer list. Now I know why I participate in Relay for Life. Thanks everyone.:)

Well he got to come home Sunday but the joy was short lived. He ended up back in the hospital bleeding last night. Thanks for the prayers please keep them coming.

He went for follow up today, they took out the stitches and are sending him to an oncologist. I am not sure if that is good or bad. I guess only time will tell. Thanks for your prayers, I will keep you posted.

Chemo starts next Monday. I don't think I have ever been this scared for him in my life. I know this is hard for him too. Thank you all for your prayers, it helps to know there are people out there praying for him.

Thanks for all of your prayers and support, just giving an update....chemo is going ok this is his 2 treatment (today) only 20 more weeks to go... he has lost about 50lbs since this has started but he is staying positive. He wont tell us much about outcomes and stuff. I will post as I know stuff. Thanks to all of you!

Just an update...he in in his 4th week of chemo. It was delayed 2 weeks because he got sick already. He had a respitory infection after week 2. Last week was the first week at 100% of the dose and it is making him very sick. Only 8 more weeks to go.. I think he is counting the days. I was on the board for our local Relay for Life, that really made a diffrence to him. I think that gave him hope. Thanks for all of your prayers.

My grandpa is back in the hospital tonight- he is in so much pain he can't stand it. They think he might have kidney stones??? Who knows- he wants to give up. Please keep him in your prayers- he needs them right now. Thanks everyone..
