Prestone Antifreeze/Dex-Cool $3/$5 Rebate

I wasn't sure if this belongs in this forum or not, but this is my first post, so please be kind.
This cash back rebate from Prestone expires 2/28/09, but the web address to check your rebate status doesn't seem to work (prestone.fasterrebates.com) and the phone # contact (1-800-338-7171) didn't have any info on my rebate--so I did some research and found a site to check the rebate status and it said my rebate was in processing. I hope this helps others who may have sent the rebate in already and couldn't get a status check. The web address to check is RewardsByMail.com

Have you tried going to the Prestone web site and try to access the info? maybe that would work for you.

I did check the Prestone website and e-mailed them. They said to check the 800 number which I already did before I contacted them. RewardsByMail.com was the only place I've found to check the status. And thanks for putting the comment where it belongs.

Boy, it sounds like you are getting the run around. I know there is one rebate site that is going out of business, it is listed here somewhere. I don't think it was this one tho....I'll do some checking.
