Albert and I are going to visit to have some fun! Neither of us have been there before and we have decided to take a mini-vacation.

We are going for 4 days and I need suggestions for hotels. I want somewhere nice, bot not too pricey.

You know it is honestly not that expensive. I was very surprised! I am reading the hotel reviews online and this is difficult! I really need help deciding which one is worth it!

AND YOU CAN MOST CERTAINLY GO! We will leave Albert at the casino!;)

Well I looked online and it looks like the reasonably priced hotels are the older ones on the strip. I just want to make sure we do not stay in a dive.:o

I was looking at the Flamingo, Circus, Circus, and the Stratosphere.

Any suggestions on those?

You'll probably want something on the stip cause downtown is so crowded. (Actually it is all crowded) Look on the internet for las vegas hotel prices, choose the one that gives you the most for the least cause they are all hurting right now, and, they are all nice hotels. Eating there good too, meals are generally cheap. Some hotels have package deals too with a dinner thrown in and maybe breakfast each morning too, some packages come with shows....there should be some great deals out there. I haven't been to Vegas in many years, but one thing is for sure, it is fun!

That hotels are priced pretty reasonably. There are just so many that I do not know which ones are even good.:o

Travelocity if offering a package for $450 each and that includes round trip airfare and 4 nights stay at the MGM Grand.

That is an awesome price!

If they are reasonable, choose one of the newer ones, Circus Circus is old and kid friendly....and is like a zoo! They had a place for kids upstairs and you could hear them yelling and screaming downstairs....I didn't care for it at all...

Wherever you stay it will be nice, they are in so much competition that they have to stay nice.

Dh is always talking about Circus Circus. Not sure if anything has changed since he has been there.

That sounds like a great price Brandy. You can also call the hotels and ask them if they have a special package deal with airfare, sometimes they will pull off a better deal...

We went last year and stayed at Ceasar's Palace for $99.00 a night. You can check in right at the airport and then when you get to the hotel, you're all set to just go up to your room. When we went to check in, our room wasn't ready, so we were upgraded to a suite for the same price. Our room had an entire glass wall looking out on the strip, it was awesome. This year we are staying at New York, New York. We got a pretty good deal there too. $79.00 a night. The hotels are hurting, so you can really negotiate with them for a good deal.

Thanks Mary Ann! I am thinking now that I see the prices....MGM Grand or the Hilton. I found even better rates for the both of us at $700 which includes 3 nights in a hotel and roundtrip airfare.

I am just amazed at the prices.

I've been to the MGM Grand. We saw David Coperfield there (love those eyes!!!) It was really nice there. I am still looking for airfare for our trip this time. I am hoping to get a good deal too.
We are going to Florida in a few weeks. We go down for two weeks every February. My DH is a hugh Nascar fan and we get to go to the Daytona 500 and all of the other speedweek races. Then the following week, we just relax on the beach. Hope it's warm enough this year!!

DH and I went to Vegas for our honeymoon! We stayed at the stratosphere but we were disappointed after getting there and realized it's not really that close to the other places on the strip.

While we were there we went to the Star Trek Experience (DH HAD to go)..and we also saw the Blue Man Group! They are awesome and we would definitely see them again!
