I absolutely love these. I carry one in my purse at all times. They work very well. They say they are not a pretreater but I have never retreated a stain and they have always come completely out in the wash.
I am large chested so I am forever dropping or spilling things on myself. I used to ruin clothes all the time that way but with my tide pen I put it on immediately and it may not completely remove the stain right then but it washed out all the way in the washer without doing anything else to it.

I have the exact same problem! Instead of food landing on my lap, it lands on my chest!
If it's not a pre-treat, then what is it? When you use the Tide Pen right away, does it leave a mark? Does it dry fast?

It dries in just a few minutes and usually doesnt leave a mark. It hasnt worked on ink stains, grease stains, tomato stains well. I believe it says that on the package. But it is definitely great on other small stains, I love mine!! I keep one in my purse and one right in my kitchen, close by at all times. I wish they werent so darned expensive though!!! around 2.99 a pen, I used a Tide 50 cent coupon that doubled, but still high. They have a 3 pack, it is a much better deal, I should have gotten it at Publix and doubled that coupon there. Dont know the prices at Walmart, going to a Wmart supercenter is SUCH a chore, walking half a mile in the parking lot, fighting the crowd, standing in huge lines---I dont do it much at all. but they dont double coupons and Publix does with NO problems!!

We used one at my friends daughters wedding. The Bride dumped a bottle of foundation down the side of her gown right before the wedding started. We took all the Stick pins from the bouquets and corsages and pinned her dress together so it couldn't be seen.We used the Tide pen to get the bodice area which was spotted .It worked like a dream!! No one knew and the wedding started about 15 minutes late but went off without a hitch!!

Oh wow I wondered about those pens, I am going to have to get one, I always dump something on the front of my blouse almost daily, so what do I have to lose by trying this. love to hear about new stuff, thanks.

I bought that one time and tried it out. My children loved it (their ages are from 11 to 15). Whenever they got a stain and my children lets me know to please use the pen and wash it out. When laundry day is time and me being so busy washing out the clothes and then oops I forgot to not put in the dryer. Boy my children and myself were so disappointed. So I remind myself to not put in the dryer next time. I haven't bought one in a long time. I miss that magic pen!

These things are great!! Just don't try to fly with one...I was aggitated when they made me throw mine out. And of course - my husband spilled on himself not 10 minutes later.........:(

These are great for most stains, but some things they just don't clean that well, like chocolate or tomato based products. These are good for quick cleanups, but I keep Shout stain wipes on hand also so I know that it won't set in. The Tide Pen is not a pre-treating product and if you aren't washing the item soon, some stains won't come out in the wash!!

I know exactly what you mean! I try to completely avoid that place on weekends. During the week, I get up at 4:40 am to go to the gym. I've gotten to the point where I go to Walmart after I go to the gym. I get there about 6:45, and hardly anyone is there. Only problem is, sometimes I have to fight the stockers. Some of them spread out and take up the whole entire aisle to stock their items. However, they are more courteous about getting out of the way than another customer would be. Also, no lines!
Doesn't it seem like going to Walmart has become a social activity? Whole entire families come, then they stand in the middle of the aisles to shoot the breeze with other whole entire families.
I appreciate all the info about the Tide pens. Thanks!

Thanks for that, we leave on Saturday for Orlando. I thought you could fly with liquids as long as they weren't over 3 ounces. I will put it in my packed bag. I can't be gone with 12 youth and not have one!!!:o

Just wanted to let everyone know that I found Tide Pens on Clearance at Target. It was a 4 pack for 6.78. That's only $1.70 each. Not sure if they will be on clearance at all Target stores but it was such a good deal I thought I would pass it on.

I bought a Tide pen at Dollar General just to try it out. My toddler frequently decorates their shirt with food. It worked okay on chocolate ice cream, but it took a while to work out the stains. It is handy to carry with you.

Going to Walmart Supercenters are a chore, like you said. the traffic is so bad!! I have a tiny regular Walmart that is NOT a supercenter right down the street from me, it isnt too bad except for the rude people who work there. Small, compact, dont have to walk a mile from section to section, I love it. But they are building a supercenter a mile from me, with a HUGE strip mall connected to it. Should be opening in a couple months and my tiny store will close then. the new red lights, the construction vehicles, the paving, the MESS involved is already causing so much traffic at the buliding site. when the supercenter/strip mall opens, it is going to be awful. My nice little area where I get around so easily is going to change IMMENSELY and I hate the thought of it. there are going to be wrecks I guarantee at the redlight going in and out of the mall because people wont be used to the traffic and waiting. MAN I am going to miss my small Walmart and the quiet streets!!!

I will never be without a tide to go pen in my purse again. It's fabulous that you can make the spot disappear and there's no leftover residue or ring where the spot used to be like the shout wipes leave. I love the Tide To Go pen!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Klassie, there is no link for the tide pen, this thread is listed in the products you love thread, if you are looking for something in particular, there is a search at the top of the page, also look at the different threads, there are ones for samples, one for coupon deals, etc. good luck and welcome to the SS forum.
