Does anyone else love this item as much as I do? It is very possibly one of the best purchases I have ever made!!! I just moved about 3 weeks ago - this thing saved my sanity! From the fridge, stove, bathrooms and windows... it made cleaning a breeze - and now that I am settling in to my new place - steaming drapes, sinks, bathrooms (yuck - you have to clean them even if they 'look' clean), etc..its a breeze with this steamer!!!!!:D

It comes with about a dozen different attachments: 3 nylon bristle brushes (, 3 wire bristle brushes(makes cleaning the inside of the stove a snap!), a "concentrated" attachment (directs a sharp stream of steam for cracks and crevases) a window squeegee, a funnel for filling, and clothes steaming attachments. The only draw back I ever had was being impatient when I ran out of steam (about 2 hours of cleaning) and not waiting to remove the lid - I got a bit of a nasty burn  (and learned to be more patient). It has a pretty long cord and heats up pretty quickly. I honestly use this thing as much as my vaccuum cleaner! Really pain in the bum cleaning issues like the cracks between your stove and your counter tops, the accordion thingy  ?) that goes around the door of your fridge, sink faucets.....you name it - I can't sing enough praises about it!! I even steam our toothbrushes with it!

I know this sounds wacky - but you will have more fun cleaning with this thing..all those "hard to reach and irratating to clean" places are a snap - vents...works really well on vents too!! I never thought of the washer though - I'll have to try that out (lol) Shower door tracks - 2 minutes and they are sparkling clean. Works really well on soap s*** too!! Happy cleaning:D

Ok, I went in last night to order this and the one I wanted with the xtra goodies (sweeper) is gone (sold), I don't know if you have ever bought from Amazon but it is made up of sellers and when an item goes it is gone but I can still get one there just not that good deal and the price was a tad higher, only a few dollars, so I guess I will break down and buy that one before it too is gone!

Ta Da!!!! The arrival of the Scunci!!! I just got it today, along with the free rechargeable cordless sweeper, I just took all the wrapping off, that was a feat in itself, they had that baby wrapped tighter than a drum.... I will read all the instructions and give it a try possibly later....right now I am busy with laundry...Yikes!!!

Interesting. I never heard of this either. I will look into that. I just love to clean because it makes me feel better seeing it all clean and relaxes me.
Will that work on my mother in law's rugs....her 3 little dogs pees everywhere and I'm getting sick and tired of smelling it.

I would suggest an enzym based product for that type of issue. They have them at the pet stores. I have found that "natures miracle" is the best one.

Ok, I read everything, fired it up and had a ball cleaning under the back lip of the washing machine where you cannot get into with even a Q-tip, it came out sparkling clean!!! in a matter of moments, not minutes, that was fun!!! then I cleaned the sink in the bathroom, it cleaned the drain thingy really nice!!! I am sold, and I love the carrying case for it too, nice and roomy for everything! I put all the small brushes and the little nozzle in a zip lock bag so they will not get lost in the bottom of the bag, again thanks for mentioning this in here, I love it!!!!!

allright, I have to tell you about the Scunci cordless sweeper that came along with my Scunci......not worth anything! that thing barely has enough power to pick up anything, lol I finally charged it and tried it out, well it will probably be ok to use on the kitchen floor daily just to collect any dust or crumbs, but not on carpet or even low rugs, just doesn't cut it! lol so this freebie that came with my original purchase was a good thing it did not cost anything! lol
My daughter in law borrowed the Scunci today, she has a big cleaning job of $500.00, she will use it on the windows and the other tough stuff! She loves this thing!!

It is very nice of you to loan it to your daughter-in-law. :)
I got a free Black and Decker cordless sweeper with my last vacuum cleaner and it was valueless. I ended up selling it in a garage sale.

Oh it is so nice when she comes and cleans for me, she will not take NO for an answer, so loaning her anything is no problem, I am good to her, and she in turn is good to me, we have a good time together!
Yeah I hear you about Black and Decker, my husband told me along time ago, never bring home anything Black and Decker, lol but have to admit I have a Black and Decker Dust Buster, that is 14.4 Volts, it works great, lots of power! and it has managed to last for 2 years now!

It is nice that you are both there for each other. That's the way it should be!
Glad your Dust Buster works! My vacuum has attachments, so I just use it. Kinda a pain sometimes, but it'll do.

that is the only draw back - it IS heavy!! So I keep it on my lower level, I have an older hoover I drag from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor.......unless I am doing serious cleaning then I drag r2d2 up the stairs!!! lol

Ok, have a question on this Scunci thing. There appears to be two differant models, one is red, and another is blue now. How long does the steam last, before having to refill it??
I am still on the border on getting this. Sounds great, but don't need something I will feel is a waste after using one time. ???? Any suggestions. This product hasn't been mentioned lately, anyone else have this now, and opinions again????

I have the red one, it comes with alot of attachments, storage tote, easy to use, and works great, as far as how long the steam lasts depends on how you use it, if it is constant then it will be sooner than if you spray something and then clean, spray and clean....I ended up giving mine to my daughter in law because she loved it! It does windows like a champ....and yes it comes with the attachment for windows, also a steamer attachment so you can steam clothes or curtains....I know my DIL will get more use from this than I will and I can borrow it anytime...If you like gadgets that work, this is a fun one to use!

I got the red one with all the attachments. So far I've scrubbed my bathroom with it and was impressed, though it did nothing for stains. But that's not a big deal. The best part was getting the cat litter out of the corners--I've got one who thinks the point is to kick all of the clean litter out of the box and I had an awful time with it getting into corners and me not being able to get it up off the floor.

When you are using this, does the dirt travel down whatever you are cleaning a make a dirt pool at the bottom? How does this work on grout? The grout on my bathroom floor is hideous and I can't seem to get it clean.

I will be doing the rest of the windows when DH gets home from fishing. I have to get on a ladder so I need him to be here in case I fall.
Thank God my ex DIL didn't take this when she took off!!
