I have a question!

My brother's birthday is coming up very soon.

I was wondering if I were to purchase him a gift card for a restaurant, would I need to make it for enough money for he and his wife to eat?

Thanks for your input!

I agree, both.
Is there anything else your brother likes like maybe fishing stuff? or a fishing license? or a subscription to a certain magazine?

Yes, I would get it for both. Unless it is a type of fast food type place he might actually eat at himself. This just happened to my DH and myself for Christmas, and unless you buy for both, it puts them in an awkward position at have to pay for an additional meal themselves.

I think buying for both would be nice. However, if you know that this restaurant is a place that they go to often, then there could be an exception because they would most likely be going there sometime anyway. As long as it's a place that they like, I'm sure your gift will be appreciated. Even if it doesn't cover both of them, every bit helps. Just my opinion though.

I would personally buy for both as I was in the same situation recently.
