Ok, I will pray for your mom, I have trouble sleeping too. I guess when you get older you have more on your mind sometimes. I'm sure mom is ok, but prayers never ever hurt. thanks for telling us dear.

Thanks for the prayers, I am going through alot right now and I am not handleing it to good. My son is leaving to go back to school (8 hrs away) on saturday and its tearing me apart inside, and we have butted heads because he just doesn't get it. Plus I am having some problems with some low blood sugar, plus my legs are bothering me again, sometimes painful, so of course all of this results in not sleeping well, and to top it off we all have had a cold or something that just doesn't want to go away. Thanks again Terri

Terri, I'm glad your sleeping a bit better, hang in there. I'm sure your sad about your son going back to school that far away but he is a young man and probably doesn't know how much you are hurting seeing him leave home. I can tell you this, it will get better in time. Hugs and Prayers for you.

I have been through this once already, my daughter graduated from college in dec 2006 and when she went away it was hard but I got use to it , but I can't let go of my son, He tells me it will be ok, but , I just go through the motions of living when he isn't around. I am trying real hard.

Terri, keep your chin up. Praying that your spirits will be lifted.

I, too, am not looking foward to when my little ones leave the nest.

Although I am exhausted much of the time from working a lot and trying to take care of three other people at home, many times I have trouble sleeping as well. I have found, however, that listening to Native American flute music and deep breathing (in through the nose, out through the mouth) have an extremely relaxing effect on me and usually will drift me right off. I also will go through Chakra (as they do in yoga) meditations if I have the time and energy. This is also very soothing and I usually feel a lot better in the morning and am able to handle stressors (and I have A LOT of them) better! Hope this helps.
