Prayers For My Health

I made a doctor's appointment yesterday to figure out what was going on with my chest. My symptoms are shortness of breath, fatigue, chest pain, heart palpitations (which has been going on since I was a child, I just was too afraid to tell anyone..the list goes on.

Well I was diagnosed with bronchitis (dr. gave me omnicef for that) and the doctor also gave me an EKG while I was there. I left before he could read it. I go back on Tueday for a heart moniter to be connected to me. They will moniter my heart for 24 hours and I will then go back on Wednesday to get it disconnected. They will then rule-out and or do more tests. My doctor told me that more than likely we will be doing a slew of test...to rule out Pulmonary Hypertension and a bunch of other diseases. I am just trying to keep it together and have faith.

Whatever the outcome is I will accept and learn to live my life to the fullest. Thank you guys for listening to me.

Some of you might know that I had something bad happen to me back in October...Well the doctor wants to do another C.T scan with contrast to figure out if this is contributing to my problems..Long story guys! :o Please pray that whatever happens I will be able to stay stong for my children.

Allison, prayers and hugs for you dear. Did the doctor rule out panic attacks? Back when I was having them I had many of those symptoms, but back then they didn't even know or talk about panic attacks. I'm glad your doctor is going to monitor you, this will tell him a lot of things.
I know you have been under a lot of stress and sometimes it's just not easy to take on the world by yourself, and stress can do a lot of things to your mind and well being. Just know that we are here for you. Please keep us posted.

I have a panic disorder and I am prescribed medication to control my attacks. I have PTSD and panic/anxiey disorder.

Something similar happend to my mom 2 years ago. She had heart palpitations since childhood. Her episode 2 years ago began when her heart started racing and wouldn't slow down. To make a long story short, they did a surgery that was non evasive that corrected a valve problem. Afterwords, she had more energy and felt better than she ever had in her life. The doctor was very upset that she went into her 60's before being properly diagnosed. I hope and pray that you will find the answers you need and a treatment that corrects the problem. You and the kids are in my prayers!

I am leaving here at 5 for my appointment for them to install/connect the heart moniter to me. I then will go back Wednesday at 5 for them to disconnect it.

I don't know why but I am having the worst luck this week. I was in the E.R today and just returned home a couple of hours ago. I fell down the stairs this morning while I was getting Josiah ready for school. I somehow got my silk pajamas caught under the heel of my foot and off I went. I have a broken tailbone and let me tell you I am not a happy camper..lol :o :(

I go on Wednesday for my consultation to get my wisdom teeth removed. Aghh, what more can I handle?

Ouch! I've broken my tailbone twice and it definitely sucks. The second time I broke it, it healed kinda funny and now DH laughs cause I have a small bump where it shifted so he says I really do have a tail now! :eek: :D
