Vlasic Pickles Mix Up!

If you open a jar of vlasic Kosher Dill Spears and they turn out to be spicy, that is because there was a mixup in the making. I don't know if it was ONLY the spears, but the Expiration date is July 2008 & the batch code is 71 3 1041 10106. The two jars I had were both 32 oz jars. You will find the date and code on the side of the lid.

This is NOT something dangerous, someone just accidentally added the spices for the tabasco pickles to the regular ones. However, it is a jolt to your system when you are expecting dill and get tabasco! LOL My hubby thought they were great!

If you do have a jar, just call Pinnacle Foods and they will get you taken care of. Their number is 1-800-421-3265.

Isn't it funny how things like this happen? One time we bought a can of Nestlé Goobers at Sam's Club, but when we got home, the can was filled Raisinets! We called them several times, and they promised a replacement product, but they never followed through.

I bet it was a jolt when you weren't expecting it! They sound good to me. I would like to try them.
