says clearly in the post first 200 teachers--even if they didn't check I would not do it--our teachers fork out a lot of their own money for supplies for their classroom--please leave this for our childrens teachers!!!:)

hey rebate queen i think we should all be considered as teachers if you have kids you are constantly teaching your kids on a 24/7 basis...... think your response was a little harsh... like saying to your kids don't touch......i am sure there is plenty of free to go around for everyone.........have a nice day everyone:)

I think she was just saying that there are a lot of teachers out there that have to buy supplies for the classroom out of their own pockets. Not every school budget can accomodate the classrooms. I know lots of teachers that have to buy supplies themselves. I agree with rebate queen, these should be for the teachers that really may need the extra help in their rooms!

Thanks for replying--I missed this somehow--you replied basically the way I would have. I would only add that I don't think it sounded harsh. I said please, explained my reasoning, put a smilie face at the end. I don't think I could have sugar coated it more than that. Also, while I agree that we are all teachers to our children, I don't think many of us have 20 or more. As far as there being plenty to go around, we have one location here and thousands of teachers. This event was for only the first 200. It was also simply a request, if you don't agree, I can't stop you!!!:)
