We have a refrigerator that the surface and handles are textured. These were EXTREMELY difficult to clean until my girlfriend told me about Mr. Clean Magic Erasers. I was skeptical but I bought a pack. They are amazing. Just one swipe, two at most, and everything is showroom clean, again. I don't know how they work and I don't care. I keep Mr. Clean Magic Erasers around for everything.

I love those erasers! I cleaned my entire back door, which is painted white, of all the dirt, scuff marks from shoes, and everything else. When I finished, it looked like a freshly painted door! Then I went through each room and erased other marks I found. Great product! --Denise :)

I know it! I love those Mr. Clean erasers! A little over a month ago, my 8 year old daughter was making a picture. She was using a sharpie for the details, and when she picked up her paper, she noticed that the Sharpie had bled through. At first I thought, "Oh well" and it stayed like that for a few weeks. I saw a program on TV and they mentioned using the Mr. Clean eraser to get Sharpie stains off. I thought "Yeah right!", but tried it anyway, and it worked!!!

I don't have shower doors, so I'm not sure, but it sure wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Those melamine sponges seem to clean everything!
FYI, you don't have to use the Mr. Clean brand. They are all made out of melamine, so you can buy the off brand if you want and it still works the same.

I know, these things are great! I scraped the nose of my white car on our garage. (turned a little too sharp) Red paint from the garage scraped onto my car! I almost cried! I thought I would give the eraser a try and believe it or not, with a little elbow grease it came off! Saved me a lot of $$$

We bought some toys at a resale shop that had the price all over the toys with the crayon pens they use.
Nothing would take off the price except for Mr. Clean erasers!
I also used it at our other house to get the ball point pen marks off the wall paper. As well as most of the crayon too.

OMG!! I scubbed my kitchen floor with one of these today....WOW!! is all I can say!! When we moved in here a month ago there were all sorts of scratches and scruff marks on the linoleum (soon to be replaced with ceramic...) It always looked dirty......the eraser took all of it away!! I am amazed - again - by what this item can do!! Can't wait until the mop comes out!!!

:D Very good for that - also good for self tanners that get a little "streaky"...the other thing that works to take away streakes on self tanners is hair removal creams...apply and wipe - no more streaks or orange marks!!!! :D

I think they are good for some of the things advertised for. Like crayon on the wall. My nephew decided to create a masterpiece on an interior door and the magic eraser took it all off. Other things like the soap grime and shower door stuff it feel like it is useless. They are expensive so i only buy it if I have a certain project like the colored door.

Yes. (Duh.) It only seemed to make the scuff marks worse--just smeared everything around. Finally gave up when I realized it was starting to rub the paint off the walls. So I guess it's great for removing interior paint.

I've used them on scuff marks successfully too, I had a free sample of it a few years ago right when we were moving out of our last apartment, and it was great for cleaning that kind of stuff up. I wonder if you have "weird" paint?

My free sample was right when they came out, so it was one of the first as well, and it was fine. Strange there's so many differences in how these have (not) worked for people!.
I've only actually bought them once (and actually, I can't remember if it was Mr. Clean or another brand that came out after those) -- We had a Christmas package leaning on a wall, and somehow the design of the package rubbed off onto the wall, had a red streak with some green in it. We tried all kinds of things to get that off, and months later I finally bought one of the erasers and it took it right off!

I'm surprised to hear this, and I'm wondering what kind of paint you have. Is it flat paint? I've only used it on semi-gloss, and I've never had a problem.

I just looked on the Mr. Clean web site, I didn't know there are 4 different type of magic eraser's, I am going to try these again, I bought a package when they first came out and was not too impressed, they kinda crumbled when I used them, they must of improved since then cause it looks like almost everyone likes them.
Attention: Test first on an inconspicuous spot with light pressure to see if surface may scratch or dull. Not recommended for use on surfaces that are polished/glossy, or on brushed, satin, dark, or faux finishes. If using for dishwashing, rinse dishes thoroughly. Do not use with
chlorine bleach.

I sent samples of these to my neighbors across the street. Mr. H swiped one to use on his boat, and he loved it. His son used it to get shoe marks off the ceiling.....Hello? ! Mrs. H went to use it to clean her table on the lanai and they were gone....I always get extras for her now!
They are great for getting hair dye off the painted wall and off of the wooden door. My dad was able to also get paint transfer off of his car after he had a little fender bender. Took some elbow grease, but it worked great!

I love these!!! These have been such a lifesaver for me! When my artistic children decide to draw on the wall I know exactly what to go find! lol I have never really had any problems other than if you get the erasers too wet or press too hard on the surface they will crumble. That is my only complaint. Other than that they work great!! I hope these stay around for awhile.

I absolutely love these things. They are a must when I do my spring cleaning to get around the door jams and take anything off the walls.
My favorite use is to use them on my white sneakers. I used to do the ammonia cloth rub(which also works great) but this is more convenient and works just as well with less mess, smell, and elbow grease.

the only thing i use these for right now is my kitchen floor. the landlord put in peel & stick white (urg!) tile in the kitchen. i tried getting down on my hands & knees to scrub that ground in dirt. what a waste of a backache! now when i get that build up of ground in dirt i simply put one of these pads under a foot & move it back & forth. clean! this doesnt scratch this floor....but others better try this in a corner...could scratch.
