HI,

I'm new to these boards. I stumbled onto this site by accident and glad I did. I love using coupons and found this forum very helpful. Thanks in advance ladies and gents. Thought I would start a thread of something I did not to long ago. I'm a new mommy and have to save as much as I can being that formula is so expensive and we go through it so quickly. My husband loves that I hunt for coupons.

I emailed Similac and gave them my home address requesting coupons and they mailed me (3) $3.00 coupons within 7-10days. I have also signed up in their Welcome addition club and have received $5.00 coupons. I have received Enfamil coupons in the mail as well and found people on parents.com to trade those coupons for similac coupons. (Something to think about for those who receive coupons that they can not use. Maybe we can start a thread when folks receive formula coupons they can't/don't use. Would save some mommy/daddy out there lots of $.) I collected about $20.00 in coupons altogether and then went to BJ's wholesale to buy the cases of similac which they sell for a reasonable amount. My father-in-law also was able to use some coupons at his PX base and the cases were maybe a $1.00 or 2 cheaper than BJ's.

Here is the link for smiliac

I know this will not help with the similac but if you have a publix in your area.... join the baby club & they will send you coupons for free baby items. http://publix.com/clubs/baby/Home.do I have recieved the coupons and there was wipes, shampoo, lotion, baby food & a few others. that should save you some money! Publix also have other clubs people can join.

My sister has one by her and she is comming in September. I was going to see if she could get them for me! Do you have to use them or can anyone use the coupons?

So would breastfeeding, which costs nothing! When I delivered my daughter, my husband had just been downsized from the military and had no job! I had no choice but to breastfeed. It was difficult at first because she spent 8 days in the hospital and had to be bottlefed (I pumped), therefore, she was n i p p l e confused. I hung in there though, and not only was it better for her (no ear infections or other illnesses), but it saved us a TON of money. Please ladies, if at all possible, try to breastfeed your babies. You'll be so glad you did! :)
