Several years ago, craft stores featured these plastic candy canes and rings which could be decorated with a special ribbon or lace. The ribbon or lace had evenly spaced holes along one side and you wove the lace onto the candy cane or ring. It was an easy craft, but made a really cute ornament.
Do any craft stores still sell these plastic candy canes and rings and the special ribbon or lace that went on them? I'd love to make more, especially since I seem to have given all mine away and my youngest daughter needs some ornaments for her tree (she was married in July). It might be too late to give them to her, this year, but I certainly could make them for next year. They were a nice addition to add to the top of a package too.
