My husbands grandmother(Wilma) is in the hospital, Thursday morning she got ready to go to lunch and became extremely short of breath, she was took to the hospital, where they were told she had, had a heart attack and is in serious condition They put her ICU to make her as comfortable as possilbe, Now they are saying family needs to come before its to late. If she makes it they are thinking hospice. So Please Pray for her and most of all grandpa(George), as this is the second wife he has loved with all his heart and took care of. His first wife had heart problems , he brought her home about 17 yrs ago to hospice, so she could die in peace. Grandma Wilma is in her late 70s also with Dementia, Grandpa George will be 82 on Christmas. They live in Fairfield California. Thank you.

Well Ladies here is an update on Grandma Wilma, she is in idre need of our prayers again, They rushed her back to the ER yesterday morning, Both lungs are filled with nasty fluid and she has a major case of pnemonia, plus she has lost control of her bodily functions, and is wearing diapers. She isn;t doing well, she doesn't know where shes at or anything(dementia), they are taking shifts at the hospital, they will possibly end up tying her down to the bed,as she keeps trying to take the IV out. Please pray that Gods will be done for Grandma and strength for grandpa as he keeps saying he is tired and doesn't know how much longer he can keep it up.They are thinking possible a nursing home or something like that. he is trying to figure it all out before they release her from the hoispital. Her oxygen level isn't good either they say and I am sure that is because of the fluid in the lungs and pnemonia, but with her heart condition I guess you never really know. Thanks for listening and thanks for your prayers. Please also pray for the family as a trip maybe necessary, and monies don't really alow at this time. God Bless You All. Terri and Family

Terri, I'm sorry to hear about grandma, looks like she is experiencing congestive heart failure. Hopefully they can help her. It sounds like grandpa is just tired, taking care of someone is very tiring for the caregiver, my MIL went through a similar thing taking care of her Dh for many years. Prayers for everyone concerned. HUGS

Just an update, grandma is holding her own today, They are concerned blood is showing in the urine, and we were told it could be several things, an infection or her kidneys are shutting down , as in not functioning like they should. Please continue to pray grandpa hasn't quit believing and neither have we. Thanks for all the prayers.

well grandma is home from the hospital, and has no idea where she has been she thinks her and grandpa were on vacation and now her house really needs to be cleaned. Kinda funny but I know its really serious, they determined that the blood in her urine was indeed an infection(Thank God). Pleas continue to keep them in your prayers as grandpa is still trying to decide what to do, grandma is refusing to wear some kinda of protection from bathroom problems and doesn't really clean herself well and is refusing some help, which is causing the infections. Plus her dementia is getting really bad. Thanks for all the prayers and good thoughts. The drs feel we will lose her this year, due to complications to her heart and lungs. She does have congested heart failure.
