I called and was going to order it and then I got to the part about them wanting to send coupons and cigarettes and the propeganda associated with them and I said no and it said it was only available to smokers. I do not smoke (never have) and since it has you varify that you indeed are a smoker TWICE (with your actual voice recorded) I decided against it just in case "Big Brother" is watching somewhere and I try to apply for health insurance and won't be eligible because I said I was a smoker way back when just to get a free falshlight. LOL, I work for the phone company and you'd be suprised how many people don't dial the 1 anymore and call us to complain because telephone numbers they call don't work anymore. I think it's because so many people have cell phones that don't require plus 1 dialing so they forget.

My fiancee got a cookbook from them 2 summers ago for me. I think it was about grilling and it had a really good recipie for bbq sauce in it. Really nice though!

Thanks guys! The kids and I have been taking a tote bag of random stuff twice a week. Most of the samples of useful things I have been saving up for him and his buddies he camps out with. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap etc. (and food of course!) and when I see him I take the other tote back and exchange it for a filled one. He is great and I know he will appreciate this more that I will ever know. It is important for me to teach the kids that even though people have different situations, they still deserve respect and if we have more than the next person, it is our turn to give back. :)

I'm a little disappointed. I received a letter in the mail stating they could not verify my age over the phone, so I have to fill out a paper, send a copy of my driver's license! I don't understand this as I was born in 1956!

Oh well, I'll do what they ask! I really want that light! :D

This is normal--they are really big on the age verification. When I did the miles program they had I had to send a copy of my drivers license. Their gifts are well worth it. We also had to pay s/h in the miles program and it was still well worth it!!!! I have received a 2 man raft, sleeping bags, portable grills, lantern, flashlights, coats, hiking boots, tshirts, a tent and probably more that I can't remember!!

seems like it took forever i had to mail them a copy of proof of age
then only they sent it out and still seemed a long time. but it was well worth the wait

i was born in 1957 and hubby was born in 1954
but our son has the same name as his dad so perhaps that was where the mix up was since my son is only 18 years old

WOW ~ Monday my Weber Grill kit (to cute) arrived and Wednesday my husband's sleeping bag came! We were not sure if they would let us both have a gift but they did, so that was extra cool! :D This has to be the most awesome freebie giveaway ever! The wierdest part about the Marloboro freebies was that my kit came Fed Ex, but the sleeping bag came from mailman... with a DHL label?! :confused: Anyway, I am glad they arrived!
