Son needs Prayers

This past Saturday night I receive a call at 11 p.m. that my 19-year-old son was being life-flighted to the hospital because 3 people had beat him up. He spent 2 nights in ICU, has a fractured eye socket and lots of bruising.

I thank God that these thugs didnt do worse damage or kill him.

Please say prayers for his speedy recovery and that the authorities catch the last 2 of these hooligans.

Thank you all so much!!!! One of the perpetrators has been arrested--she actually confessed to the investigating officer that she beat my son. The other two are still at large at the present time, but we found out today that the main one who did the beating is wanted on felony charges in 3 counties.

My son received a text message today from one of his friends that the guy who did the most beating on him stopped by the house where my son has been staying since getting out of the hospital and is staying here in town about a mile from my home.

My son gave his statement to the police today since he was unable to give it the night of the attack. The officer told us that the main guy who beat my son is on parole for class A felony assult---I thought "nice! and this guy is still walking the streets able to terrorize other people??? Something is terribly wrong with this picture."

Luckily the hospital said they will work with my son on his bills. He is also putting in an application for crime victims compensation, but was told today that the only way the crime victims compensation takes place is if these people are actually convicted and spend time in prison. The officer said he does not see why the prosecutor would not press charges because there is enough evidence against all 3 of them. The woman is on probation for a previous assult charge, but we found out it was her first conviction and had been reduced to a misdemeanor.

Hopefully, with God's blessing, these 3 will be put away soon. My son is healing but is scarred mentally. He is terrified of being alone and is having nightmares from the incident. He has always been a very outgoing fun-loving kid and now these ?people? have taken so much from him.
