Lynne needs our prayers...

Lynne's daughter just called me to let me know that Lynne was in a bad car accident yesterday.. A garbage truck slammed into the side of her truck... Her lung was punctured, she has broken ribs, and a laceration on her knee. They are keeping her overnight for observation. I know her daughter told me more things but I can't recall the whole conversation because I was and still am in shock. She needs our prayers guys more than ever. :(

Also praying that the insurance companies don't hassle and haggle and drag this thing out, which prolongs the pain, and just pay up. The company that owns the garbage truck and that driver owe Lynne and her family more than insurance could ever pay.

Thanks, I just sent her one. I can't believe this happened. That is horrible. I know that accidents happen, but that driver could have taken the whole family away from her husband. I know the driver will be having a hard enough time emotionally, so hopefully they don't make this mistake again. I am glad that she is getting better, but I will continue to say a prayer for her until she is back here and telling me to stop! It won't be the same without her here.:(

Sorry, since it was published in newspapers where anyone with her name and address, and a few details of the accident could search and find it online, I didn't think it would hurt to send on the information to Carol earlier today. Nothing was online yesterday no matter which paper, news station, or state patrol reports you searched, but this morning one of the county papers from Lynne's area had the whole print story written with information provided from her husband and the sheriff's department, so I forwarded it to Carol.

Also, my mistake--the list of injured taken to a different hospital included her husband and two children, not three children. The article says taken there by county EMS for "treatment". There's nothing more as to the particulars of their injuries in the article.

What a terrible thing for Lynne and her family to go through. :( Just glad no one died, and that Lynne is starting on the long road to recovery.

I want to thank you for the information, I have been in contact with her husband and he said she was doing better. I am having a hard time with this, Lynne and I have gotten pretty close in the last yr and truely it hurts. I have put her and her family on a prayer chain and I too am prayer for a full and quick recovery. I see the hospital is located in Quincy Ill. Update, just got off the phone with Lynne she got home from the hospital on wed, oct 1 and she says she is doing good and misses everyone too.
She tell mes it was very tramatic accident for her and the kids. They had to use the jaws of life to get her out. She also told me the kids are well and so is hubby. she thanks everyone for the well wishes and prayers.

She has been busy with all of her and her families doctor's appointments and such. I chatted with Lynne last week on Yahoo. She is doing well, and so are her kids. She misses everyone and will be back when things in her life are a little more settled.

She received the "undies" a lot of us signed for her and said they literally "made her day," the day she received them. They put a HUGE smile on her face.

Lynne and the kids are all doing very well, I spoke with her tonight.She is in very good spirits and just busy with life........:)
